Sucheta Kripalani (Uttar Pradesh) - Indian National Congress, served from 2 October 1963 to 13 March 1967. She was the first woman to become a chief minister in India.
Nandini Satpathy (Odisha) - Served from 14 June 1972 to 16 December 1976. She was known for her strong leadership and literary contributions.
Shashikala Kakodkar (Goa) - Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, served from 12 August 1973 to 27 April 1979. She focused on education and Goan welfare.
Anwara Taimur (Assam) - Indian National Congress, served from 6 December 1980 to 30 June 1981. She was Assam's first and only female chief minister.
