Lady, you have reminded me how good it feels to laugh at George Carlin again - even though I've watched almost all his material - seeing him through your laughing was so much fun, I watched the entire video - thank you for the lift - I see why people like you - I do too.
Genius.Seer.Prophet poet and humanist .Our society needs him.His mastery of the English language, the FEAR he induced in those who wanted to dictate to others how to think and what to think. We miss you George and love you.
Yassssssss great way to start my bday weekend lol well tomorrow but shit I'll take it lol 😂😂😂 that "pinkie and the thumb" line really got ya....dont tell me you know some people that do that lol
@@RiUp thank you! But imma just chill at home cause hell Jersey poppin off like its the 4th of July with cases...imma stay my 40 yr old ass inside 😂😂😂. I plan on going to Jacksonville in January tho for a bday thing. It will be a great day tho...esp if I see another vid drop from you
Way, way MORE Carlin to do…start in the beginning then move forward from there…you will see his incredible growth and understand why he is the GOAT and a philosopher…just found your channel, from 🇨🇦 Canada
This is the kind of reaction that I like to see. This girl absolutely laughed her ass off and as many times as I have seen George Carlin I laughed just as hard watching her. Great video!
The thing is you are one of my favorite George Carlin reactor's , is you do catch everything, nothing goes over your head, and you seem to know exactly where he is coming from. Your laugh is contagious, I know Carlin's material like the back of my hand, so I alway's know whats coming, so I don't always laugh, but can't help to sometimes because of your laughter. I am sure I have told you before, I have just about has everything Carlin has ever done. That's 18 albums on mp3 plus interviews, still have vinyl and cds too. I also agree with Peer, to check out his entire career. I am sure I have sent you my cherry picks from 1963 - 2008. A lot of what I send is audio only but still should not be overlooked. There is no video for a lot of this stuff, but that's where I started in 1974. I listened to about 10 or 11 lps/cds before I ever seen video, other then SNL, or Johnny Carson, and I am his biggest fan. No there is this on routine, that I heard for the first just a couple years ago and is one of the funniest I have heard. This one is audio only but as I said, funniest. GC - I Kinda Like It When a Lotta People Die ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TyhoGUAcOBI.html this one is 28 minutes long, so don't wear mascara that day. And this one he is reading from one of his books, same old George but no audience, response but still a MUST HEAR, cause your a woman, listen how much George knows about woman, like you said, too bad he is not around to talk about whats going on today, a lot of his stuff is still relevant today. george carlin on woman ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xgeLpFTNn8g.html
Your channel showed up in my suggestions and I clicked because it was a Bill Burr reaction (women failed the wnba). I was so impressed by your honesty in agreeing with him that I started watching some of your other videos. That was about two hours ago. Two hours of binge watching and it only seems like two minutes. I absolutely love your reactions, your laugh, and your obvious intelligence but it's your love for George Carlin that made me a subscriber.
I love that man and I'm super glad I was alive in his time. I remember being a kid and later in my teens and twenties watching him on HBO back in the day. Thanks for your videos!
I saw him around this time in his career. He was, and will always be, a comedic legend. They don’t make em’ like George anymore. Looking great as usual Ri!!! Happy Holidays from Massachusetts!!!
When you got to the part about adult men referring to their fathers as "my daddy," you laughed so hard that it had me laughing again after hearing that one many times.
George Carlin the philosopher! Always check the date of the performance. Some of his material can be very politically incorrect, like he would have given a damn anyway! I am 60 y/o and I reference George a lot when someone is talking about something and I say "Carlin has a bit on that" I love watching your reactions! I live alone and I love a great belly laugh and watching this channel I feel like I am watching this live with you! Thanks for the many laughs, keep them coming!
64 here, I knew that he would go before any of us were ready and he did. I remember watching him on late nite when I could sneak out and watch him with the volume down to zero and a ready hand to turn the contrast full dark, I could sit absolutely still and after the parent at the time was back in the bedroom I would turn the contrast back up and hold my gut to keep from making any noise, ( I want a buck for each minute I got away with this, I could buy a fair used car with some bells and whistles tossed in ) George was from day one a ' Proffit ' when most did not know what a ' Proffit ' was, and most still., do NOT know nor do they want to know the ' this from that '.
Hiya, Ri-Ri!! There's that wonderful laugh of yours again!! Always brightens my day! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours, dear! Hope the holidays bring you lots of happiness! 🌹
Carlin was the one that went to court over the 7 words that could not be spoken on TV at onc point. Important history. Robin Williams is another good one to check out. Brad williams-fun size. Fluffy and Steven write are funny too.
He sweetie, your reaction was awsome, and very genuine, just like George, he is my all-time favorite comedian, and just for your info he was called "the thinking man*s comic" cause he really got you thinking. will defineitly subscribe to your channel after this reaction.
Listening to him rant about millionaires in hot air balloons makes me really sad he didn’t live to see the billionaire space race this year. We will happily watch 22 minutes of your wonderful laugh at Georgie. Make your next one 3 hours, watch a whole special. We’ll be glad to watch! Have a great holiday!
I miss this guy so much. He opened doors for everyone because he started doing it before everyone. He was doing standup in the 50’s and 60’s. Way before any comedian you can think of. And influenced everyone,. 1 way or another. Anyone’s favorite comedian was in some way influenced by Carlin. Even if it wasn’t your favorite comedian getting directly influenced by him. I gaurentee his favorite comedian was his
Finally a reactor who has as good a sense of humor as me. You appropriately cracked up for this. I love to laugh and I will genuinely laugh at even the dumbest jokes. Which is why those "try not to laugh" videos are really titled poorly. Isn't the goal of funny videos TO laugh? Speaking of laughter.....R.I.P. Betty "Rose" White. St. Olaf is in mourning. 😢 Thank you for being our friend.
We had the pleasure of seeing George Carlin live in Milwaukee the year after he got busted at Summerfest for doing his "Seven Filthy Words You Cannot Use On TV. The first line out of his mouth? This time he remembered bail money. The reaction from the crowd was spectacular. Everyone got it! We, as in everyone loved his stuff starting back in the day either on The Tonight Show, or Rowan And Martin's Laugh-in back in 1969. The earliest routine I think was The Hippy-Dippy Weatherman. He was so adept at spotting and reporting the goofy shit. That was his job, and part of one routine. He and Richard Prior are a missed treasure.
Always love your Carlin reactions! Just to spice things up, please react to Louis CK's "The Way We Talk (Hilarious)". For me, he and Dave Chapelle are the only two comedians who can even be mentioned in the same breath as George. Just to be clear, Carlin will always be #1 for me, but Louis and Dave have the same combination of fearlessness and intelligence as George.
He would comment about today the same as he’s commented about every other period in which he lived. He dropped wisdom about nearly everything, especially in his later work
Ri, you are simply a legit fan of Carlin…and I love it. You should check out his entire career, honestly. His evolution is nothing short of remarkable. As his consciousness becomes more acute, you can see him slowly transition from goofy, clever comedian; to a wise, more philosophical form of edutainment. I can’t compliment Carlin enough. He’s a genius, and that’s not a euphemism. PS - I miss Jersey, hope it’s treating you well. I was born in Plainfield, lived in Toms River and Hamilton, which is a suburb of Trenton. Which region are you? It’s been about 10 years now, since I’ve been up to Jersey, or the city.
I bet Carlin and Robin Williams would have had an insanely funny material on everything that has happened since 2015. Btw, if you haven't checkes it out yet, Robin Williams's Weapons of Self-Destruction is an amazing routine
I own a copy of this performance, but I don't care for the "routines" of jokes he does here as much as I LOVE the gruesomely creative descriptions of ways to Kill people he gives at the start of each segment! Something about those darkly imaginative things and his matter-of-fact delivery, just makes me bust out laughing.
@@derrickfoster644 Yeah, anyone else doing it, or any different delivery, would have just made it awkward or unpleasant. But he fit it perfectly into the "absurdist" category. (Like an old Looney Toons, Road-Runner cartoon.)
15:30: Many many years ago it took longer to buy something with a credit card than a check. Pull out the credit card machine. Insert the credit card. Put the 3 piece carbon receipt in the machine. Swipe it forward and back. Look in the bad card number book to see if your card is on the list. Have you signed for the item. Give you your copy of the transaction. Go on your merry way.
UHHHH OHHHHHHHHH!!! LMAO :) SO HI RI, I SURE HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT XMAS AND SANTA WAS GOOD TO YOU BABY! HERE'S TO A MUCH BETTER 2022 HOPEFULLY :) IN A COVID WORLD :( KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU DO AND KEEP ENJOYINGGGG YOUR GEORGE, I LOVE THAT! :)
@@RiUp Well I can view all your other stuff, and I subscribed today, so I wanted to watch this one, but RU-vid seems to have an issue with me being 42. Maybe it thinks that I'm 13. :P
George always made good points. He was a real thinker. I miss performers like this. Today in America people have gotten soft and easy to offended. SAD!
90% of this is just having fun, but he gets to the last bit and it's a weapons grade reality check. We can't even manage to keep from doing horrific and brutal things to each other, and idiots think we're going to colonize space. I say, how can we get these people on the rockets and off this planet as quickly as possible.

If George did his bit today ... He'd be CANCELLED before he became famous. So George Carlin wouldn't exist today. You have rhe Millennials to thank for that.
"If George did his bit today ... He'd be CANCELLED before he became famous. So George Carlin wouldn't exist today. You have rhe Millennials to thank for that." Completely forgetting that it was you Boomers who took him and Lenny Bruce all the way to the Supreme Court. And are trying to do the same thing to Carharrt as we speak, by the way.
@@BoojumFed damn right! Millennials didn’t cause this bullshit at all. The generations before and after us just LOVE sticking right into our noses how much we suck… and for all kinds of shit. This isn’t a generational problem; the same type of cronies run the country regardless of their age because it takes a certain type of asshole to do what they do. Assholes come from all eras of history.
21:45 Yes, would like to see Carlin's take on the Great Recession, the Tea Party Movement, the Trump Administration, the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 US presidential election, Storming of the Capitol Building.
