This clearly shows you can sound like yourself on different equipment. It's more what it feels like to the player. Does it make what you need to do easier?

The classic sounds for me the best

I don't think you can hear much of a difference in terms of the sound. Tom Hutchinson could probably create a nice sound on any mouthpiece. But clearly you would have to adjust the tuning slide. The Ultra is quite sharp compared to the other two.

Tom's a great player and probably won't change from his DW Classic 4. The ultra looks similar to the Alliance mouthpieces. I play on a DW Classic 4W normally and on the Alliance Prestige 1 when I'm on 3rd cornet to get the low range but after listening to this won't go near the DW Ultras.
