Yeah you can just tell Anya is going to be an amazing future Spy after being trained by the legendary Twilight and Asassin Yor.

I think Anya is doing amazing for a 4-5 year old. And yeah she is super uncoordinated and has a shorter attention span. Because she is a preschooler taking advance classes on 1st grade

The author strikes a great balance between OP (telepath) and helpless (little children). Similarly about Twilight and Thorn princess. OP characters done right. Really great manga&anime, which deserves to have more deep dives.

@@Dreq458 I think he meant that the mangas were discontinued because of poor sales. Extremely dark and disturbing stuff usually doesn't sell that well.

@@valhatan3907 darker stuff and characters aren't typically popular in Japan. Lighter stuff and characters tend to be more well received over there

I also think he'd be doing a better job if he had a normal kid. He's analyzing the situation pretty well, but then Anya reads him and takes it in a different direction.

Loid has never had to rely so heavily on others before. In this case, it's Anya's job to carry out the main part of this mission which makes Loid incredibly nervous.

I watched 2 episodes of the anime when it came out and immediately went to read the manga that weekend lol. The anime is pretty great. Anya is too adorable.

@@isaiahmarshall2704 Saori Hayami's voice when voicing Yamato is really different from her usual tone, so no wonder it was hard to recognize.

Totally agree with you. I was enjoying the manga already and loved it at that point, but I think that speech really cemented my love for it. That chapter made me cry. I was not expecting that.

You also get the gut punch when you realize Handler had a daughter and she likely lost her daughter due to the war. You originally get that when Handler meets Anya and mentions her daughter.

My top pick for beginner friendly and my top 5 anime (from 100+).

This series, Chainsaw Man, and Dandadan are up next to take over. I think all of those series are going to be the biggest for years to come.

Thats how it begins lol. I couldn't wait for AoT after the end of season 4 part 1 so I finished the manga. Then I thought, well, I might as well catch up on one piece since I'm caught up on the anime. Then, it just kept going and now I am week to week with like 7 manga 😄

I'd even say the 1st season was better in the anime then the manga. Even the filler episode was great.

This 👆 Both are amazing manga that i know she'd enjoy very much.

Merph has a looong way to go, a lot to discover in this manga world, and that is great.

@@DanielKimdanielkim90 Here's what I've come up with so far... (spoilers) There are two parties in Ostania: the National Unity Party and the Nationalist Party (not confusing at all, I know). The National Unity Party is the one that Desmond leads, and was in power during the war. From Twilight's mission and other various hints, they seem to want to start another war. The Nationalist Party, on the other hand, is anti-war, and the ones who are in power during the story. This is why WISE was, in a weird way, working with the government during Doggy Crisis; at the very least, they're the lesser of two evils, and preventing war is a common interest. It's safe to assume that the SSS and Garden operate according to the Nationalist Party's ideals, which is to prevent war. The Garden in particular has a telling moment where the Shopkeeper tells Yor to protect Olka Gretcher from the "pro war" usurper of that organization. He also mentions that he owes a debt to her husband, who ran that organization and played a large role in helping Ostania recover after the war. We see similar hints from Yuri's escapades in the Secret Police. So it seems like everyone's on the same side: war bad. But I don't think any of them realize it, thanks to oversimplified politics. WISE might know a little bit, but they can't really say as much without admitting to espionage, which is a huge no-no. The SSS and Garden are probably convinced that WISE is trying to start a war, and they have to prevent them from doing so by murdering their agents. These attitudes obiously trickle down to Yuri, Yor, and Loid, who judge the other organizations accordingly. I think this will be important during the inevitable Mr. & Mrs. Smith fight between Yor and Loid; they'll probably start out trying to kill each other, but if someone (coghcough Anya coughcough) can convince them that they're doing it for the same reasons, they may be able to resolve it. Rent a girlfriend is the greatest piece of literature ever written. It literally has the greatest panel in existence (underwear boner scene). But it would be too much for her to handle the beret scene

They even recommended her Tongari Boushi no Atelier, and that impressed me because it is a very overlooked/underrated MARVEL💯, that's how I like recommendations: varied, balanced, not just the most popular and recommendations where you can feel the unlimited power of manga xD
