That was beautiful Levi. Kinda sums up my situation just now in life but the important thing is to keep going forward. Wonderful story and art, all in four minutes. All the best.
I loved this so much, so good! So many feels. Our time is the most valuable thing we can give to someone and you never know how much it might mean to someone, even if you think it was insignificant.
Great video, in a time where listening is not always that easy. It gives a feeling of what a moment of attention for another person and listening and just caring can do.
Great message and theme. There could have been a little better support for the camera with the over the shoulder shots. Also see a few contextual shots that was neither here nor there for me like the swing in the park. The wide angle shot with the mountain range in the background was enough to establish the setting for the conversation in an open isolated space. However, I really loved audio by Kurtis Judd. And again, the message in the video in strong and an important one.
Seems so wrong to see someone using a phone whilst driving. It's a good job he has two right hands 'cause in the UK the penalty for using a phone in a car is to have one of your hands cut off.
That was the very first thing I thought, even before I started analyzing the audio that Curtis recorded and mixed! Isn't this illegal in all US states as in many other countries? (and if so, weren't the film makers taking a risk of getting the production shut down if stopped by the police?). In any case, it's a really bad idea to drive and talk without a hands-free kit...just common sense. Unless this was done for some dramatic effect that passed over my head :-)
Excellent little video! How you packed so much feeling into 4 minutes ... I'm impressed. But I couldn't help notice an editing error. You had a closeup of his right hand on the steering wheel while he was talking on the phone, holding the phone in his right hand. Just a little error. Otherwise, excellent!
