Thanks very much Oliver! When we recorded this video a few days ago I was staying on the south coast at Kay's house, and these are her two guitars. I didn't have mine with me (I took my ukulele on the train). She played the larger Taylor -- which is a little louder than her GS Mini -- so that her fingerpicking could be heard clearly over my strumming. If I have all of my guitars available to me, I choose which one based on how well the guitar's volume and tone will work on the recording. For example, if it's a song that involves strumming hard with open chords, I might choose my GS Mini, as it's not as a loud as my Gibsons or Martin. If I'm fingerpicking I might choose my Martin. If I'm playing lead guitar, I might choose my Gibson, as it has a slightly lower action. Sometimes, however, the decision is quite arbitrary ...I choose whichever guitar I have on the stand in my living room at that moment. I switch between guitars from time to time just to enjoy the variety of sound, feel, size, etc.

Thanks for the reply Jez! I like very much acoustic music both live and on recordings, just a voice and a guitar or two guitars like in this video or a few instruments together. I like very much the sound of the Gibsons and Martins that you play but I also like the roaring Taylor and Mrs Hofner too :)
