Russell Mitchell was always my favorite builder during the chopper craze. And you're right, it's aged very well.

I always dug Exile cycles. And Mitchell's minimalist design during that era was striking in comparison to the brightly colored beasts of the 2000s chopper scene. In the end, he had a better eye for what could stay relevant next to a lot of his peers at the time.

At 61 i remember the Custom Chopper Craze of the Mid 90's to the early 2000's...I saw Mitchell at the LA Calender Show at the Queen Mary in Long Beach 20 years ago....I always have a love for Choppers so much that even though i dont have my Dyna Wide Glide anymore i still ride Eazy Rider Style...

My two favorite builders of that era were Exile and Zero. Timeless design.

Very neat, was having Kasey withdrawals lol- then Google said You might like this😂 I would agree, I've only had 1 showstopper bike, during the late 90s when the Big fad for Slammed, Stretched & Lowered bikes then were. & after the Boss Hoss had been introduced, which I had looked at but just thought way too Dbag ish for the time. I can't remember who I went through but a rather well known ooh la la bike customizer outside of the Valley essentially in LA, close ish to Van Nuys. Anyway, it was the Most Stretched, Lowered Bike I ever owned & by far most Extreme in Look & Rather probably "Coolest" Like even my Bimota sitting next to it would be Overlooked & that's saying a lot! It's Plate read: HNGLOW which I was rather surprised that went through. I was ofc speaking of the Bike dontchya know- my bigger point is as far riding any amount of distances?? No way!! Like so many of my bfs at the time, were ONLY to be Seen😂😅😂 Oy I tried to justify having keeping it especially for its cost more the the Bimota! LMFAO! But figured go to someone who would cherish it more then me. Where as I prefer to drive or ride or fly whatever I own 🤷idk call me crazy

i like bobbers with that style...but i like the lightweight ones....i nearly bought a 1600 roadstar to turn into something like that, but i changed my mind, its heavy

1850cc? Have you considered a Harley 131" crate motor? (2147cc) Hard mounted vs rubber mounted? Really? Mad science project, yes, you bet but would you ride it long distances? (Thank you for minute 5:10). So how much does a bar hopper like this cost?
