Listen to what the bank teller said about cashing my bonus check

Stopped into the bank to cash my Christmas bonus check and was not prepared to hear what the bank teller said to me. We are entering into a time where cash is slowly being eliminated. Everyone be prepared! It doesn't hurt to keep cash on hand inside your home safes.

Trudeau is the poster child and a most willing participant of the WEF...along with many cabinet members. And its definitely another ploy to get people away from using cash and going 100% digital. If all money is digital, those in power will limit what you can buy if not outright disallow it, no matter how much digital currency you have in your account. Say goodbye to real liberal freedom and to something worse than what historic monarchies even did. A world soviet state is coming.

As soon as you make a deposit into a financial institution, those federal reserve notes, become theirs and they leverage your money to make money for themselves…anywhere from 400% to 1,300% is the percentage the banks make off our money. Bankers are not our friends. They’re our enemies. They’re also the one’s pushing CBDC (central bank digital currency) which will take away our financial privacy (every transaction will be tracked) and it’ll take away our freedoms. Example: if they want our kids to experiment on them, if we do not comply, they could completely cut our money off. That’s just one horrific example of what we’ll face as their DIGITAL SLAVES.

The CBDC has poor support in congress right now, so write letters to your congress critters expressing that you don't want CBDCs and prefer cash money. A few letters won't do much but thousands of them will. A congressman once told me that for every letter they receive, they think that 5,000 or so other people feel that same way. We need to head the CBDC off at the pass and not let it worm its way into the national economy. The Fed already has too much power. No need to give them even more. Their performance record simply does not justify it.

Around fifty years ago , I had an uncle that still lived with my grandparents . He was working six days a week and didn't get out of work until after the banks closed . He filled out a deposit slip for several paychecks and had my grandma take them to his bank for deposit . The bank refused to do so , causing him to take time off of work to go in and have a " little chat " with them , at which time he informed them that he wished to close out his accounts as he would be doing business across the street from now on . They had a major fit when they realized how big his accounts were , and started to promise him all kinds of things to stay . He flatly refused and him and Grandma went across the street to the other bank , where he explained the situation and told them exactly what would happen if they refused to accept a deposit brought in by his mother . The second bank never caused any problems .

I worked at a bank for 11 years and by no means am I sticking up or defending the banks. Banks have stats that show approximately how much money they would need on specific days, i.e. when it was pension pay day, banks would have more money on hand. So on the "slow" days, there would be less money on hand and all remaining money would be time locked so they would have no access to it even if they really needed it. I'm sure this response is something you would get if you were to call the branch or the head office about it. I do totally agree with you that people need to keep hearing about all of this as the times are changing and people need to be prepared. They also need to know that we all chose to be here at this specific time of events and we are here to support and love one another and never give up hope and faith.

@@johnchemo4248 Hi John - great question! Your soul, your higher self chose to be here at this time. Amongst all the chaos going on, we have to remain strong and remind each other of hope and faith. So much negativity in this entire world and we can't allow ourselves to be sucked into depression and hopelessness. This is not why we are here. We all have a purpose to be here at this time. Meditate every day for at least 10 mins. You will connect with your higher self and remember why you chose this specific time and what you can do to help others around you.

I love my life but none of us chose to be born so no I don’t think any of us got to choose to be here during this time or during these horrific freedom stealing events. Also known as CBDC’s, which are being pushed by central (too big to fail) banks. In 1913, bankers were very collusive and corrupt with bribing / blackmailing the Secretary of State to lie to the American people, about state ratification and the 16th amendment, to get their unconstitutional income tax birthed into existence. People who believe they have to pay taxes are knowingly stupid at this point in time. And they’re part of the problem. They’re helping tyrannical, collusive, corrupt banks monopolize / racketeer our economies.

I've not had that particular problem in my bank - I take 4 figures amounts out all the time and have been doing it for years - so they know my normal pattern of withdrawing from my account. I do think these banks keep as little cash as possible though....maybe that isn't the normal transaction there? I'm being nice of course - I'm sure your experience will gradually become the norm... I am annoyed when a bank won't cash their own checks unless you have an account there - that has happened to me...they want to charge a fee to cash a check from their own bank like there is some risk...it's all part of the plan

Local branches seem to handle up to $5k cash fine. It's when you want between $5k and $10k they don't have it in stock. It's like going to an auto parts store and 'we can have that for you by 3pm today from the warehouse'. Banks are contracting their costs and a big one is their over-night FED funds transfer rates/costs, which are rising due to FED interest rate increases. Some retailers that had big cash needs/deposits were being told a surcharge may be put on large cash deposits/withdrawals (like 2% back when interest rates were 2%ish, I suspect those warnings are higher now). It's hard to buy a used car or farm equipment off Craigslist/etc for cash these days because of this situation "can't you buy that with a cashiers check?"; not when you are negotiating a different price than listed after you inspect the item and find unreported issues.

No problem, counted it all out but then did ask me if I wanted to let them know what it was for. I just said work on my house. You see, the bank only carries so much ready cash, it's to deter thieves. They don't all have a stereotypical vault "full o' cash." Sometimes, it's just a drawer or cupboard, and they just shuttle excess cash back and forth via armoured car to the main bank. The tellers have drawer limits to not expose too much to robbery. Usually, about $5,000. So if your check was $5,000, her drawer is now empty and there are probably 5 or 6 people on lunch break ( I'm sure you came in at lunch, worst time to go to bank) trying to cash or deposit their pay check. So now 6 people have to change lines or wait while the teller shuts her drawer down and go with the Head Teller to the vault to replinish her drawer, meaning the Head zteller will also have to shut down her teller line too. So this has more to do with security and wait time for customer service. However, yes govt does want checkless society.

Work at a bank here. We limit how much we have. We do however accept large order requests which we then wait on federal reserve which can take a week. Depends on bank location and what week and such. Could of went after the pick up and got bad timing. Lol happens.

There are many factors at play for banks that don't keep nearly as much cash on hand as they used to. 1. There has been a significant reduction in the use of cash across the USA.... this is somewhat planed buy the government, but also at/for the convenience of everyday people. Direct deposit and debit cards are the "norm" for employers, so dealing in cash is greatly reduced. 2. You don't seem to have an "in-person" relationship with your bank branch. While it isn't a requirement by any means.... if they were more familiar with you in-person, maybe the discussion/transaction might have gone a little smoother. 3. Smaller local branches just don't keep much cash on hand due to logistics and concerns for robbery..... depending on your local, that can be a big concern for them. While the government certainly wants us to have all our money in the bank and wants to push for more control over cash..... it's not going away anytime soon, and if you plan appropriately, cashing and dealing with larger amounts of cash can be done
