"Seventeen wearing all black and circling around this girl...and during the chorus, they're trying to do the tango with the girl." You actually HIT THE MARK on this lol (except Hoshi makes Jeonghan stand in place of the said "girl"). In the actual choreography (this song was performed once early 2016 at their concert), Jeonghan breaks out of formation alone, during the chorus after the 2nd verse, and faces off all 12 members, with Seokmin in front. And they start mirroring each other's moves. If you pay attention to the lyrics, Seokmin (and the rest of SVT like Seungcheol's rap) talks about a girl who walks too quickly, furthering the distance between them, etc. while only Jeonghan's part is in perspective of this girl, saying, "I can't match my pace [with you]...[we] grow further apart." If you don't watch them do the choreo, you wouldn't think Jeonghan was singing in the girl's POV, but he points at Seokmin who sings while facing Jeonghan, "You, who walks at a quick pace." He watches Jeonghan walk away from the rest of the members to the other end of the stage. Jeonghan sings his line, and then, all 12 members start "walking" towards him as if trying to catch up, and they all do the " 12 vs 1 mirror choreography." LOL so I got goosebumps when you talked abt your on-point impression of the song (assuming you haven't gone to the concert to see them perform it). I need Seventeen to perform this on a show because Jeonghan gets that extra spotlight in this choreo YASSS -An unnecessary essay by another Jeonghan trash

This album is an epic one! I can't really choose just one. All the songs are awesome. It's a bliss to my ears,honestly. But if i were to choose, it would be "I don't Know". The 'Smile Flower' is actually a very meaningful song in terms of lyrics - the feeling Woozi put in this song as he dedicates it for the rest of SVT members, how much he appreciates them.

Hoshi composed highlight tho. AAAANNDD I completely agree with you that the song has some sort of balance for them in terms of singing and performing. Well you need to see their live performance during the showcase \(ㅇㅅㅇ)/. Not really a Hoshi stan but I'm soo proud of him, the Performance team as a whole definitely stepped up their game.

Dino is a quadruple threat!! Dude can dance, sing, rap and choreograph. He is my favorite rapper (after wonwoo) in seventeen actually and this is coming from a hhu unit stan aha And yes! Highlight is performance unit best song ever, same with you with how //okay// performance unit prev songs are. And oh my fave track on the album is Lean On Me even though for me A Quick Pace is the best song in the album.

My favorite song in the album is 'I don't know' I fell in love with as soon as I heard it. I've gone thrrough a few boy groups 'transitions' that started with a certain concept and then change it and it's always so hard to me because they usually just switch completely to a different style and end up sounding like a totally different group but I've never been able to witness such a thing Seventeen is doing right now. They're transitioning to a more mature sound but they're taking their essence with them so it's different but it's still Seventeen.

The amount of lines joshua had in this album was more than I even ever imagined. I especially love the way he sung in the vocal unit song, singing in his normal, calmer voice rather than his sweet voice. He also puts quite some emotion into it that added more to the sad vibe of the song (The lyrics.... im sob) and I'm just IM SO PROUD ;_;

long comment coming up "performance unit don't get as good songs as the other units" me: just wait until HIGHLIGHT "i really want the performance unit to get a good song." me: they did!!! with HIGHLIGHT ~HIGHLIGHT plays~ fuck yes. Highlight is my favourite song on the album, I love it so, so much. I didn't think anything else this year could top Healing, but now that this is out, it's seriously fighting for the spot of my fave release this year. When I heard it in the highlight medley I was so excited because the drop sounded insane and Seventeen have never done a song like this before - generally, you don't even hear this in kpop. It's just so epic and they really do deserve a song like this. My reaction to the drop in the full song was basically the same as yours haha! Add in the fact that there's amazing choreo to go along with it, Soonyoung helped compose it, and Minghao wrote the chinese lyrics in the chorus, and I am just one happy and proud Minghao/Performance Unit stan. "Beautiful reminds you of Healing" yep, when i heard the highlight medley i immediately thought this song was going to be like healing 2.0 and thus one of my faves from the album. i wasn't wrong. and this: "if healing cleansed your soul and it healed you, beautiful feels like you're being reborn." is such a perfect way to put it. All in all this album is a freaking masterpiece and proof that Seventeen are a group worthy of stanning. Pretty much every song has a very solid and distinct emotional side to it that makes me want to see an MV for each song. Like you said with comparing some of the songs to seasons and describing visuals for Fast Pace - the songs induce imagery that make me want to somehow paint fan art for the entire album haha! It's not often that songs (without an mv already) take me on a journey that I can visually see playing out in my head, so to have a whole album of them from Seventeen is a treat. I'm so happy this album exists now.

this is like my first time watching ur channel and I'm just really shocked that yk all their names and voices. usually when people react to their albums they only know like 5 members so they can't appreciate the line distribution like I do, BUT I HAVE FOUND THE GREATEST JEONGHAN STAN EVER along with a person that recognizes the full potential of my children. thank you for the reaction and please keep supporting seventeen :))

All songs are really good but Fast Pace stands out for me.

when you were talking about performance unit and the songs they should have in the beginning, I was all "maN I CAN'T WAIT TILL HE HEARS HIGHLIGHT IT'S SO GOOD" ahhh I really am so proud of Soonyoung for composing it and as a hardcore performance unit stan, I'm so happy they had this amazing song. Going Seventeen has become of my favorite K-pop albums. it's just so good?? so Seventeen-style. just fresh and youthful sounding- it's filled with ballads too when it gets to the 2nd half, and I'm a huge sucker for ballads. Going Seventeen really has surpassed the quality of all their other albums, and listening to the improvement makes me so happy. with or without the fact that Seventeen are only a year and half old since debut, they really do make some of the best music in K-pop, and they will become an even huger hit than they are right now one day. 17/10 ;)

Highlight is definitely my favorite, but that doesn't mean that I don't think THE ALBUM IS SOLID AS A BRICK. Smile Flower especially made me cry when I found out what it's about.

Excuse my pathetic ass for blabbering here but no one will stop me. First of all I am so fucking honored that I am in same fandom as you are Producer-nim. Honestly this whole video feels so freaking personal because only huge Carat like, *shades on* , me, who can actually understand this almost 30 minutes long video. How you listen to these songs and also connect them to the old one, how you call them by their real names, how you even mention small things that I almost never paid attention to, how you can recognise whose voice is singing. Man, I can't stress enough how delightful it is for Seventeen and this fandom to have you as part of us. You pick up on the mood of each song so quickly, and so well! Your description of Lean on Me was spot on, thats what I felt when I heard it but you put it into words. Also, your reaction to I Don't Know was me when I heard it! Its such an amazing song!! I think its my favorite song on the album actually, but all of them are amazing. I Don't Know is so beautiful - sometimes it makes me sad and want to cry at the chorus, but it also makes me extremely happy because its such high quality.

It's actually Jun who does the low/whispering part towards the end ^^ and yeah Highlight is probably one of my favorite track on the album, the drop is sooo good and I love that Minghao and Jun got a lot of lines (also the super low synthesized voice during the edm drop is actually speaking chinese !)

Fun fact on my personal experience: I discovered Seventeen through RU-vid's autoplay feature, I was listening to something else, and then this album auto-played, that's the best thing RU-vid has ever done for me, right at Beautiful, I was like: "Oh my God, these guys are a serious deal, their vocals are insane" then Boom Boom was like "OMG THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME DANCING, and they're nice looking too!!" and then Highlight murdered me and became one of my favorite songs ever, and that's how I became a Carat, thanks RU-vid, you did good for once, the rest of the album was just the icing on the cake, I was already sold, but Fast Pace and I Don't Know were such cool songs for me, before this I had just started liking Kpop and after this, I STAN SEVENTEEN

More people need to do an album reaction! I really can't choose a favorite song. I mean everything was just so next level and that last slow, soothing track was the perfect way to end a listening session. Hooray! I couldn't stop checking your page throughout the day for the listening party and I'm so glad it has finally been released! I really enjoyed the reaction because as a Jeonghan fan, you understand the sadness of a Joshua fan in the early eras when Joshua had like one line per song. I also appreciate this reaction because you pointed things out that I hadn't noticed, and I feel like I learned a lot from your video. Hmm..for the cover film, I think I would like to see it for Fast Pace or I Don't Know. I would've said Beautiful, but I also agree that it feels like a Healing sequel, and we already had a really aesthetic video for that. Your concept for Fast Pace matched the kind of tango/salsa dancing I was imagining (literally this emoji 💃), and Fast Pace has all the members. Lean On Me has already been spread on RU-vid from when they performed it in their fan meeting, and it was the day Wonwoo returned, so it was really all I needed. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BOI I was waiting for this! This album did what I didn't think that was possible so fast - snatch Love Letter's place as my fave Seventeen album. I like depressing songs and I like deep lyrics, so this album was like a feast for my (t)ears. Btw, that part around 11:11 where you said that was Dino's voice, it's actually Jun singing! He starts off Highlight and sings that other part w/ Hoshi. Also, Hoshi is the brilliant mind that saved Performance Unit - yes, he composed that song, not even kidding. The low part in the drop is in chinese btw, written by our Minghao~ this song is legit the most Performance Unit song we ever ever got - they're my fave unit, so Highlight was a gift from the gods. I am so glad that I'm not the only one having trouble in picking faves on this album though - the unit songs, the mixed unit songs, Flower Smile and the whole meaning behind it, Quick Pace... Also, Boom Boom's instrumental snatched me lately! I'm crying how many cats did I save in my past life so that I could receive such a gift from Seventeen? The first album that I pre-ordered, and must say, I am not one bit regretful about it. Thank you for taking the time to make this! I'm excited for the video project you're planning~

AGHHHHHHHHHH I was waiting for this video all day yesterday, and when I saw it in my feed this morning, I IMMEDIATELY had to watch it XD This whole album is bomb as heck and Woozi wasn't lying when he said it's the best album they made so far. It's so hard for me to choose a favorite song cause my style of music is on 2 different spectrums: funky/edm influence music and sad ballads. So Highlight and Quick Pace fit my funky/edm spectrum, while Don't Listen in Secret and I Don't Know are perfect for my sad ballad type. But in all honesty, I feel like Don't Listen in Secret and I Don't Know are my favorite songs off the album; they are just able to make me feel so much and bring me to the point of tears everytime.
