The ending theme at the end of the series. The characters have been through so much, and have grown through every struggle, and though the burdens and memories still weigh heavily on them, there's a sunny blue sky waiting above them and a wide open future ahead.
I don't watch Suisei that regularly but her songs make me want to keep on keeping on Also Violet's mv has a ton of Girls Last Tour and Monogatari vibes
i've never watched any of her streams but she's by far my favourite vtuber. when vtubers became a thing i tried to have nothing to do with it because i thought it was a weird attempt at mixing anime and streaming. but as with anyone on the internet i stll got recommended vtuber videos. and then it all changed for me when it happened. Suisei's Ghost got recommended to me. i've never heard of her before but something about the thumbnail caught my attention so i clicked on it and ever since then i absolutely love her songs and even got more into vtubers
Literally hololive is that type where its a package deal. I don't even need to listen to non hololive songs that much anymore since it has everything. Even my favorite producers are producing for them too lol.
nah nah, its a cover yeah, but its a cover so good that she basically made it HER OWN song. It’s become synonymous with her and more associated with her than it is with the vocaloid P. I dare say listening to it any other way feels like the wrong way to listen to it.
yeah agree with you towa-sama is amazing... but after i listen -ERROR cover by djalto, i already feel a real error meaning of this song... but that just in me personaly
What about Dawn Blue do you really like? IMO Calli’s vocals really don’t work for the type of J-poppy anime OP vibe they’re going for. Her voice is to low and gravely, which works really well for her rap stuff (end of a life is also in the video and is really good) but it just doesn’t do it for me. But I kinda want to change how I think about it, so hearing a different perspective might be interesting.
@@Fake_Cow I can't really give you a good explanation for why I like Dawn Blue. I just listened to it to find something that I can point out but I just like listening to it without any reason in particular. Just a chill little song that's fun to hear. Definitely not one of her masterpieces though. I just called it underrated because it seems kinda forgotten and I do like it :D In the end it's all a matter of taste and if it doesn't do it for you, then I can't really change it I think ^^ But I do agree on the point that her voice works way better with her rap although her singing definitely improved a lot in the last 2 years.
im a music snob / elitist so back in 2020 I wrote off the idol portion of hololive as not my cup of tea. Fast forward to today and I think I’ve listened to suisei more than any single music artist this last year - across both her albums plus MGO there’s like 2-3 songs max I’ll ever skip. That’s territory even my favorite bands struggle hitting. At this point I can’t tell if I’m getting gachikoi or if she’s really that friggen good
I'm gachikoi for her too, her music is so good that since I saw her in the beginning of March 2021 (I actually fell into the rabbit hole in 2020 with Mikochi, Korone and 2ManySnacks) I have never had enough of her, in fact she's literally her namesake and beacon of hope. Not to mention she's a jack of all trades. Compared to anyone from my country (India), she's lightyears away and what a real entertainer and idol should be. (Many Indian entertainers just suck, suck at too many things)
She literally is just that good. My favorite artists consist of prog and psych rock bands, old country singers, visual kei, and a select few jpop and jrock artists. And somehow suisei clears almost ALL of them
End of a life hits hard but it hit me even harder one night while drunk on the bus home. Stopped the music after and just sat on a park bench after getting off just to cry and rethink my life…
Man, listening to Towa ERROR for the first time was an unique experience, I love her voice so much ❤, and whether hackers for some reason makes me cry 😢 7
End of a Life feels like driving through a highway at night and you can see city light in the distant. But that video also got that feeling too. Idk if you have done Roar by Towa yet or not, but it HAS to be Doom imo 😂
Because this song heavily reflects on Calli's journey from being an underground rapper to a shining star and the experiences she had with her former buddies who turned an eye away from her and her friends didn't like when Calli got even more famous and all she wanted was for them to see her and be proud for her success
I felt the blade runner snow scene about as hard as when I saw it in the movie. I really liked that scene and I think it’s meme status cheapens the actual moment, but just because you’ve only seen it done badly doesn’t mean it can’t be done well! You did it.
While Towa's cover of Error is pretty iconic, just wanna give more credit to the song which predates hololive itself. It's a 2010 vocaloid song by the producer niki using Lily. I'm just being pedantic but if you wanna focus on Hololive original songs(of which there are many now), Error isn't one of them as nice as it is.
My reaction to the video, on the fly: ERROR: I used to listen to VFLower's version back in my Vocaloid/vsingers days. I had Towa-sama's cover in a playlist for a long time, and every day was the same thing: I couldn't listen to it without crying. REFLECT: This song hits differently if you knew "Red Gura" before today's Gura. Also, I always loved the Greek lines at the beginning and the end and the Jaws reference in the arrangement. Wonky Monkey: I dance to this shit one on a daily basis. Planetarium: I'm that monkey right there. I love harmonized voices, so this song is my heart and soul. PO: I love Polka, but as for the song, I wouldn't say I liked it. BLUE CLAPPER: I always imagined Aloe's silhouette slowly appearing right after the second chorus behind a DJ table, and when the lights turn on, revealing her, she joins the girls to sing the rest of the song. Palette: I feel TOWA PAWAAA Weather Hackers: I was watching Coco singing and dancing this one on her graduation, almost crying, when my mom came into my room and watched the TV and said "Well, that one has no tits!" I laughed so hard that I enjoyed the rest of the stream. I thought: "Kaichou wants us to smile." Love you, mom. VIOLET: My oshi from Myth singing, what can I say? A certified Holo-classic. Ai-Mai Chocolate: IMHO, one of the best songs of the sheep, right behind 君 色 ハナミズキ, and (of course) Watame Rap, among others. Dawn Blue: This one feels so nostalgic! end of a life: This is "that special song" for specific moments. HINOTORI: Anime opening vibes. Omoikou: Oh, no. It still hurts.
