This video has so few views! It makes me wonder whether it's blocked in some countries? Or maybe people aren't interested in Morbid Angel? Or... or course... it might just be that people don't want to watch me? Ha ha! Hmmmm.... I'm really not sure. RU-vid just isn't honest with me when videos are blocked!
After I've listened this album at least a thousand times since It came out, I had to came to the conclusion: This is one of the best metal album ever made
I second that, brother! I would kindly add Consuming Impulse, Slowly We Rot AND Cause of Death, Heartworks, Spiritual Healing AND Individual Thought Patterns. But this album ranks up there, without any doubt!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Rutan is one of the most important death metal figures, he is in the mighty Hate Eternal and he is also a very good producer(he produced latest Cannibal Corpse and Devourment records) He was also in Ripping Corpse, a very brutal Death/thrash metal band
@mazathoth I'm not really a fan of Rutan producing Morbid Angel records, just does not sound good. I don't think it fits them well but never the less, Rutan is fucking god of death metal.
One of the greatest death metal bands of ALL-TIME! It’s a short list. Absolutely legendary album!!! I love watching people discover this music, and the raw and visceral reaction to this incredible music!! Keep on the road to discovering Metal!🤘🏼🤘🏼 I’d highly recommend the bands Death, Obituary, Carcass, and Pestilence. Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Bolt Thrower, Deicide, and to some degree Entombed, Suffocation, and Celtic Frost deserve respect and recognition as well!!!
I've listened to almost every album of Morbid Angel. Domination is one of my favorites beside Altars of Madness and Covenant, although it's a lot harder to 'digest'. Also, the production isn't very good. But i have to say that the song Hatework is Morbid Angels pinnacle when it comes to their slower stuff, almost like ambient music for hell.
I think this was my least favourite Morbid Angel album so far... but I've seen a lot of love for Domination online. I like your 'ambient music for hell' description!

If you enjoy prog, King Crimson is a necessary listen. The albums I’d start with would be In the Court of the Crimson King followed by Larks’ Tongues In Aspic and Red.
I actually have a red vinyl from a band called Clinic from Liverpool. They released an album this year called Wheeltappers and Shunters, I'd be interested to hear what you'd make of it. Cover's quite nice too. Bought it from a vinyl market in Archway about a month ago.
False, he did the Covenant tour In 94 and joined full time to do Domination and the tour, left in 1996 to start Hate Eternal. Came back to MA to do the Formulas tour. Then joined back full time again for Gateways and that tour then left for good.
The Mercurial Number Six 😄 well I know your gonna love either of the 2 Idles albums whenever you get around to doing them. Seen them live again last week here in Dublin, just one amazing band, you’ll be in for good times I assure you 🤘
@@DethThrasher1 altars is basically death thrash. Domination is next level shit. Just listen to the guitar work on nothing but fear, it has counter point riffs that work great together to make one of the sickest parts.
