MCR is a good band because it really has music for everyone throughout it's run. The first album (I gave you my bullets...) is harsh reality, the second (Three cheers...) is aggression and a desire for disobedience, the third (Black parade) is sadness and depression and fear of losing yourself, the fourth (Danger Days) is hope versus hopelessness, and the fifth (Conventional weapons) encapsulates it all whilst contemplating what it means to end... which can also be said of "May death never stop you" and other songs released after the band dispersed. I don't care how many people say "It's a phase" and "I've grown out of MCR" because I still think they are fantastic.

The thing I love about MCR is they use screams to be effective in a song. I can't listen to most screamo music because to me, it takes away from the emotion of being angry(or sad or w/e) by drowning everything in the same emotion. By just putting them in parts of a song it feels like the emotion hits you more. So bands like MCR, The Used, flyleaf, etc gave me more feels than ones who screamed the entire song. (screaming of course in any capacity is impressive and I'm not saying people who scream aren't talented. It just doesn't do anything for me)
