Listening to the Sugababes for the FIRST TIME - Mutya Keisha Siobhan - Caught In A Moment 

Now we know why the Little Mix girls gave them a shout out at Brits😄

Sugababes where formed in 1998 With original members Mutya Keisha and Siobhan. Siobhan left the group in 2001 and was replaced by Heidi Range. In 2005 Mutya left the band and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. In 2009 Keisha the last original member was controversially asked to leave the band and was replaced by Jade Ewen. This meant no original members where now in the band. That lineup stopped working together in 2011. In 2012 the original members reformed under the name MKS and have been together ever since. In 2019 MKS regained rights to use the sugababes name Sugababes as a whole are a highly successful uk band scoring 6 number 1 singles and 2 number 1 albums alongside winning a Brit (little mix shouted them out in their speech) You can’t beat the original members harmonies and chemistry but the band have a great back catalogue that you must check out!!! I’m from Texas and I love the Sugababes. Their 00s era stuff is awesome Round Round is my favorite song of theirs. I have their second album Angels With Dirty Faces on CD. I hope I make it across the pond one day and see them live.

Sugarbabes have been around forever. They are the reason I listen to British performers more than American ones. They are amazing

Don't stop there! Their cover of Royals just kicked in at the end there - definitely watch that and like everyone's saying, check out their history and all of the great line ups. Amazing pop and soul, but the MKS lineup is just IT with the harmonies. Maybe have a look at Beverley Knight - another amazing UK singer :)

The one on the left, Siobhan Donaghy released a solo album in 2007 called Ghosts, and OMG that album deserved all the awards. Very Kate Bush-sounding, I'd HIGHLY recommend listening to Medevac if you were going to try one song of hers, but Ghosts, There's a Place, Don't Give It Up, Halcyon Days, Goldfish are all stunning tracks.

MOAR plz!! They've just headlined Mighty Hoopla in London (it was amazing) and done Glastonbury (!!) and have a full UK tour coming. Please please more reacts?

oh you've put yourselves in it now. :o I feel like a Sugababes historian. I'd start with MKS, then back to beginning (also MKS) to feel the journey. In most incarnations they're incredible, but you started with the best.

This was the original band. They came up with the band name and wrote the first wave of hits The group ended around ten years ago with a different line up. The management had stolen the name , but the girls just won it back in court. MKS was a moniker they used in the interim, it is the first letters of their names. Listen to Overload, amazing song.

UK REPRESENT BABY!!! You have to check out flatline, the group have been out for 20 years, released some absolute timeless classics here in the Uk, this is one of their most recent tracks and one of my favorites.

I wish the MKS Version of Sugababes would release a updated version of some of their more suited songs with Siobhan: even acoustic like this for fans; CAUGHT IN A MOMENT TOO LOST IN YOU UGLY FREAK LIKE ME SHAPE OVERLOAD NEW YEAR RUN FOR COVER FOLLOW ME HOME STRONGER FLATLINE I feel Heidi shines on all of the songs she recorded , but Siobhan prob wouod suit the more ballad type songs with Mutya and Keisha if they re- recorded some hits.

I'm from West London and a year or two older than the girls. Sugababes were my late teens and early 20s. Best singers and best harmonies to come out of the UK ! Beatles level of iconicness

Sugababes are huge in Australia & New Zealand 2000s pop royalty.

I saw them live in concert last November, was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. No need for any dancers or stage dramatics/special effects when there's 100% raw talent.

Mutya, Keisha, Siobhan and later Heidi were the only relevant members of Sugababes. All the other members who came later are absolutely insignificant for that unique Band.

Amazing that you're checking them out! The best songs across their 4 line ups from last to first in my opinion are "About a Girl", "About you now", "Stronger" or "Push the button" and "Run for cover" or "Overload". All great hits 👍

Im sure you have heard about the controversy surrounding the Sugubabes Line up Changes, and then battle over the use of the bands name. Following the last 3 girls in the band to claim going on Hiatus after the album Sweet 7 was released with Jade, Emelle, and Heidi. RUN FOR COVER, is probably one of the best Sugababes songs, and it comes from their first album, so Siobhan was actually in the original recording of it which is pretty cool. The also have a song that I believe is a duet with Sting, (cause I think he sings during the chorus) its called SHAPE ! SUUUUCH a Good song with Sting ! And then there is Cover of the song by Kendrick Lamar, LAY DOWN IN SWIMMING POOLS. Frankly is a must hear !!! I'm new to your channel actually, but I would suggest since you did the SUGABABES even though it was a year ago, I would suggest doing THE ALL SAINTS now, considering that they were pieced together by the manager of the ALL SAINTS so its only fitting. I would recommend doing a live version of one of their songs also, perhaps Black Coffee, or Pure Shore, or Under the Bridge.

You should also check out Girls Aloud. They were also around for 10 years. They pretty much finished as little mix came onto the scene. They were mentioned in little mix's brit award speech and was also formed through a talent show. Sadly one of the members has recently passed away from breast cancer. 😢 Sound of the Underground official video should be the first one you check out. 👍
