Another excellent exploration of a Liszt masterpiece. Howard continues to expand the scholarship of Liszt's music which was so sadly lacking until the mid 20th century.

How logical is his teaching, he follows the score, giving little advice about tempo and exactness of the text. You don't need much more, everything else it's already written on the score. 8:05 how moving is this passage?
