I am very small to say this but translation doesn't means the literal meaning of the words, its the symbolic meaning and the depth that makes it a poetry otherwise just collections of letters.

Let us hope one day Gulzar will get a prize from some Western organisation. Both Firaq and Faiz were also deserving candidates for Noble Prize. Dr Surender Bhutani Warsaw (Poland)

+Surender Bhutani : I will not be surprised to discover that Gulzar himself doesnt care about Nobel Prize or similar. Given that Gandhi didnt get Nobel while Obama did, you can decide the credibility of the award for yourself. Gulzar lives in hearts of people, and will do so for generations to come. Thats greater than any Nobel or Academy award.

+himanshu gupta because your level is not up to him, i was also feeling the same in my earlier stages of understanding of poetry , but after reading so much poetry, now i can understand and appreciate his poetry, he is the most creative poet of our time, and i can say one thing very confidently that you will also appereciate him with maturity, try to understand the lyrics of "mera kuchh saman tumhre pass pada hai"
