Hjalmar: Seawolf has the passive ability that reads as follows: „Whenever you play a raid card, remove all armor from adjacent pirates and ships and boost them by the amount removed“ or something like that

It’s a less consistent version that uses Scenario and more Pirates/ Raid cards instead of the discard package. It has way less points in round 1 compared to discards so I decided to stick with the discard version

Sadly that us usually what happens in Gwent and we can’t change anything about it. I don’t even know if this combo is nerfable, unless we bring protector to 2 Power

Actually this deck is surprisingly consistently strong (against anything that isn’t status NG 😅). Also I had to play a lot of games because everyone just kept forfeiting and not letting me get a full game 😂

I’m not sure I know what you mean, could you maybe try remembering more about it? If it’s timer based then I’m guessing it involves spamming something with an order?

@@rennoctopus oh sorry, that wasn't super clear of me. (also, i got the name of the card i was trying to remember wrong!) what i meant was, when you trigger one of these infinite point accumulation cycles--like you've done here with Dagur and the two Heymaey Protectors--something stops the points the points accumulating eventually. (otherwise the game would just get stuck in an infinite loop.) my guess is that the timer that usually appears when you're taking too long to finish your turn actually keeps ticking once you click on the coin, and puts some sort of limit on how long the "results" of your turn can last. a similar thing happened to me ages ago when i somehow triggered an infinite point accumulation--on Cahir, not Caranthir. the Nilfgaard dude who gets a boost whenever an enemy card does. i can't remember how it happened, but the game locked up for so long i thought it had crashed, and then suddenly i had an absurd number of points. my opponent forfeited 😂

Were you playing rain by chance? Because the same thing happened to me when I had a Cahir ready and the opponent had two boosting rain beasts (forgot their names 😭) Anyway I don’t think it’s timer related as you can see in the video, I sometimes am able to do it two to three times in a turn. It seems like it might have a hard cap at around 50-60 but idk the exact amount

Oh really! Damn, I was wondering why you would ever run scorch in an alchemy deck 😅 Could you also elaborate on what your deck was? Cause decoy and scorch just came out of nowhere

Lol It's a crows/alchemy deck but with adjustments for the Autumn Cycle (only card from Starter/Base/Ofir/Toad) and the cards that I have

The last 4 days it's been popping up every 3-5 games! What is going on with gwent! It's a meme deck so why is everyone playing it as for real 😳😳😳😳

Because it just needs one turn to win the game. It is in it’s current form, the greediest deck in the game rn

@@rennoctopus but it ruins gwent and we really can't afford to loose more players? I really hate when these decks gets popular.. When I started playing gwent it was about skills and memes decks you were lucky if you saw 1 every week. Now people actually play them as in play them. But it doesn't matter I haven't played for awhile now and this just makes me even less want to return to gwent, I only knew about it from a friend that just deleted gwent 😒 I was planning on returning to gwent to gwent tomorrow but it seems like all that is left is NG reavers. Meme deck and point slam. 🙁

Nah NG and reavers are only a problem on ranks 1-3 everywhere else they aren’t a problem. The game is honestly in a way better place than it was before as there are so many viable archetypes now. I highly recommend trying it again!

@@rennoctopus they are not difficult just like reavers weren't difficult. My points was just it's all everyone is playing people aren't getting creative or trying to play with skills anymore. It's the same 3-4 decks that's just keeps going in circles.. I just miss when people would get creative and play with skills! Especially as you said so yourself there are so many archetypes now! But people don't seem to know how to use them? But I will give it a chance again soon I hope! I have sadly just lost all my passion and I even used to play 12 hours every day with 4 accounts until a week ago..
