The Kai and Nya short was fantastic. Anyone who went in without knowing about Ninjago loved it. It is fantastic in a vacuum. Replay the short on a big screen with a nice sound system. Play the short at high volume. Maybe the Cyberpunk/80's vibe will enlighten you then.

4:10 Star Wars was made for children. No, I'm not talking about the Clone Wars, which is in effectively the same boat as Ninjago. I mean Star Wars 1977 was a story for children. Remember that, you great big world full of kiddos and bastards.

You forgot one game. Lego battles Ninjago for the DS. Grew up with that game and still play it sometimes.

I like the idea that the Clutch Powers Movie was an in universe film about ninjago Clutch

Okay very unpopular opinion but one of my absolute favorite episodes of ninjago is I Am Okino from the Prime Empire season. I am absolutely obsessed with this man, he is an icon he is the moment. But more seriously, I love the message that he sends, that of believing in yourself no matter what and pushing forward, and I feel like unlike the ninja at many times (for one example, nya in crystalized) he actually changes based on his realizations. Also his voice and animation are so perfect he feels like someone I can truly see myself as.

When season 8 came me and my siblings watched it and my syster Said that she would never watch ninjago again because of the redesigns but now season 8 and the new designs are her favorite so it aged very well.

Ninjago, My Little Pony, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bluey. An entertaining show is an entertaining show. If you like a show I don't, who cares, it's entertaining to you. If you don't like a show I watch, totally cool, but it should be because you actually don't like it and not because you made assumptions like "oh that's for kids".

Honestly the redesign is pretty good. Every character gets an upgrade in their hair except for Zane but honestly his hair before wasn’t great. Cole’s man bun and Nya’s hair are standouts for me

4:49, sadly some people don't say this on other shows too. I mean some people are like it's a good show and all, but I still think the other one is too childish. I mean (yes I'ma just take) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic for an example. It's interesting for some and for some not. It was normally made so children can see it and that being mostly girls, but still many people are interested in the show, cuz it's a nice change. There are even dark scenes, plots, funny n goofy stuff, a lot of drama, FIGHT SCENESS, interesting villains and (well ofc) friendship. So basically everyone who's saying that Ninjago is childish, is really just stupid. Some adults literally take their time making a TV show for kids and then some older people are getting interested in it and they like the show. Basically (almost) every kids show can be also good for adults. If they like it, then let 'em like it, that's what everyone needs to understand

Ninjago fans who say that the show is violent have clearly never seen the clone wars.

1:40:41 the same thing happened with Zane honestly, It became his whole personality to be a nindroid, and many of his lines r Is him BeINF super smary roboty and pulling info that the ninja need outta his arse. Zane used to to be much better, he used to cook, be funny In a not degrading way (most of his jokes r now js him stating that what somebody is saying Is wrong) and more. being a nindroid/smart wasn’t his whole personality trait. I like that he still had that daring trait to him tho, and that loyalty too. Still, with all the flaws the producers have put on Zanes character, absolutely love Zane, even If his character was kinda butchered in the recent few years. I just hope that moving forward, maybe notch down the degrading and only smart side of Zane, make him more down to earth like he used to be ^_^

I think Core Zane sucks honestly. Sleeveless is Cole's thing, and why is he just keeping his chest completely exposed? also the gray hands look ugly, sue me, I just think it looks really bad.
