I actually got this game as a kid. I was so dissapointed. I remember raging at the vegeta fight cuz he literally just spammed galick gun over and over.

My favorite episode of dbz was the one where vegeta fired galick gun at regular intervals of about 5 seconds while goku tried to remember how to use his square square triangle triangle triangle combo. Really brings back memories.

I remember being so excited as a kid getting this game when it first came out. I beat it 100% in like 3-5 hours. Didn't enjoy a single second of it. I was too embarrassed/ashamed to tell my parents to take it back to the store.

Remember the episode where Nappa was getting hit by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon 20 times while Gohan was dead on the ground face first without any chance of revival? Yeah, that episode was great.

I played the hell out of this game when I was younger. At some point it glitched into a black screen with Vegeta yelling and flying all over the screen while leaving a trail of after images (picture the classic pc Solitaire cards after you win except it's Vegeta all the way down). I could never play the game after that, because I would never have as good an experience playing it ever again.

I tried do hard to like this game... It's a great concept a dragon Ball z arcade like beat em up .. it they did a Resurrection f game where you fought Freezas army of throwaway Hench men that could work

I played this game once. I was fighting Frieza as Goku, and suddenly Frieza became attached to Goku's wrist in a permanent T-pose. He was like a weapon I was swinging around while punching. He couldn't be hurt, even by my friend during co-op. It was a game-ending glitch. But it was funny as fuck, so...five outta five, best DBZ game.

Oh my god I use to play this all the time on the GameCube when I was in elementary school. My older brother had all the characters unlocked. I could not beat the Gohan vs Cell level for the life of me. That’s also when I assumed Gohan was gonna be taking over DBZ.

If only I could fuse with Oney, maybe the financial crisis could have been avoided completely

I remember renting this from the Blockbuster back in the day. I remember it sucking hard, but I did finish it. There is at least one boss battle in this game that is basically unplayable. You had to stay in Super Saiyan form to deal damage, but it was really easy to lose it and have to spend like 5 minutes fighting to gain back you ki to enable it again, only to get stunlocked until you lose it again... and repeat. Unplayable. I finished the game and unlocked one-armed Gohan from Trunks's future, and it absolutely was not worth it. This game is ass.

The beginning thing with the graphics they talked about is very true cause they keep cropping out the screen and making all the colors hella fucked Up in “deluxe” editions of the dvd sets and such like the 30th anniversary dbz box set was terrible and the colors were off and they hugely dropped off the screen and it was crowd funded none the less with a huge price tag they should just release the original episodes instead of endlessly remaking them in “deluxe” box sets.
