Very excellent review. First class. I did a little "digging" and I found out that the voltage input of the solar 5.5x21mm plug can take up to 30v and 7 amp. So if we extrapolate with a DC to DC boost converter the maximum watt input should be around the 210 watts minus losses. That's considering if the BMS doesn't cut the voltage or amperage of course. I'm glad it supports pass through charging. That's a big bonus even if you are pulling a load that is larger than the actual input as it will increase run times effectively. As I said, first class review. The only thing I would request is getting some instrumentation if possible to do a DC/AC power output test. I've been a computer tech for over 25 years so I'm actually trying to get rid of my instrumentation. LOL. I'm old, and very tired.

Cool review. The Amazon tech specs claim it contains 64 Lithium Ion Batteries. That's one of the best solar panel kickstands I've seen you review, a bit cumbersome yes but it looks quite sturdy. Very cool concept to have 2 onboard charge packs to pop out and take with for the day, but I'm surprised it only half charged the tablet. Very neat of them to give you the power station and the solar panel to test, not many of the others did that.

That's a pretty comprehensive review. It seems like a nice unit. One thing that would be nice is if you could get a cheap portable oscilloscope (e.g. Hantek 2c42) and show the voltage curve, especially as you turn off a load. A lot of cheaper inverters output a steady voltage under load, but if you suddenly turn the load off the voltage can spike a little, potentially causing harm. Another request: It would be nice to check the output power using an external energy meter like a Kill-a-watt or PZEM-022. That will let you know how accurate the screen is, giving you compatible results between units.

Neat power station, thanks for the review. Awesome "surge" load capability. The vendor info on the amazon page says that it can do through charging but they caution that it could shorten battery life. When you plugged in the LED studio light there was an interesting harmonic in the lighting (light/dim patches scrolling down the screen). The LED had a flicker very close to 2x the camera's vertical scan of its CCD (looks about 0.5hz slower than 2x the camera's FPS), so I wonder how "pure" the sine wave is....

Interesting that on the Amazon page it states “Fuel type: gasoline” and “Engine type: 4 stroke”.

It almost has to be li ion vs LFP for a 500 wh capacity in that size

*Often a company like (Lithelllllllll_eeeeeeeeeeeee) will try and hide its crappy specs from the prying eyes of the customer, because they're not proud of the components they are cheaping out on ! So, if you can't find the battery specs they are using, then it's because the company doesn't want you to find it ! This means (NON-LFPoE) and most likely LnMc Lithium (Old Style cells). I think there's additional stupidity with the AC Outlets as well ? These two AC Outlets are NOT 120 Volts @ 15 or 20 Amps. Most likely, the AC outlets are only 110 Volts AC (Not the best rating, but still OK). However, the amount of current the AC Inverter circuit is supplying to those outlets can possibly be as low as only 8 to 10 Amps, instead of the standard rating of 15 to 20 Amps. I can think of everything from small refrigerators with a compressor, which will run hot if they don't get 120 Volts AC @ at least 15 Amps of current, so beware of this. If you plug in a cooler style fridge and freezer (Like an IceCo), then those will run just fine off of the 12 Volt DC cigarette lighter output.*
