Another option you can use instead of a fish tape if you don't have one is use a shop vac and a bag. Tie a long enough chunk of loose pull string to a plastic grocery bag. Try to use a small bag if possible. Push the bag with attached string in one end of the pipe. Put the vacuum on the other end of the pipe, turn on the vacuum, and a few seconds later, you'll have your pull string.

Can you add a link with details on specs and mounting? I know you gave info in the video but i would feel more comfortable taking in this project with visuals. Thanks. I have been researching for a while switching to lithiums and changing the charging system completely

I have looked at your set up, my question is “ will this set up cause my 2008 2 stroke Yamaha outboard charger stress and to go out?” Im afraid the run and gun will system will continue to try to charge the lithium batteries.

Nice boat and video Fish tape gets jammed because it’s a corrugated conduit, they should have used a smooth flexible one. Try using a regular drill for screws and holes, they don’t need to be jackhammered in.

Sun screen lotion works awesome for wire lube, and usually someone has an old expired bottle around, but maybe a little messy for a boat install.

Hook a small bag up to your pull string stick it in your pipe , put a vaccum on the other end . Works awesome

Big Daddy, grab ahold of that fish tape, find the closest trash can, and accurately chuck. Go to Hobo Freight and git a set of the fiberglass wire fishing stix. They work great.

No problem screwing those battery trays into the floor? I have a PVB as well and I know there's a fuel tank down there and I'm super nervous to drill into the floor

Valid concern; the fuel tank is in the center, starts about 1/4 of the way through your rod locker. You can see it when you lift up the tin over the on board chatger. Even still, drill depth is always on my mind in the floor
