Absolutely criminal when people are on housing lists for ages that people leave a three bedroom house in that state so that the housing people have that mess to deal with and the cost is passed to tax payers

People who rent and have no intentions of remaining in the property for long usually take little care of the property. This is a generalisation. The property looked quite appealing when cleaned. Would need a huge make over to make the home a warm one. Whether a home had a make over or not, if it was clean and tidy it would still be homely. Shocking how some people choose to live.
