My family had saved a whole family of them before, sadly they died all in their own tragic way and we truly miss them. Although when you got atleast 3 peeping birds sticking their butt in the air and pooping on the self it gets annoying

I think it is, if you look for videos about nests of the tits, like bluetit, great tit and so on, the chicks perform the pooping pretty much like that, Pete in this vid just doesn't have a bunch of siblings to use as leverage.

By the way, in real life, when baby birds do this, they poop gets picked up by their parents AND EATEN BY THEM! Young birds don't digest their food all the way, so this way the parents supplement their own diet!
Veh Dawn Perhaps it's actually that he just doesn't go until the next time he eats (the waste is from a previous meal and he lets it out after the next meal).
Fun fact: the reason he does this is because usually the parents would take the poop and carry it far away, so there's no poop around the nest. If there was poop below the nest a predator (such as a cat) would easily notice that there's a nest there and attack it. So he is helping his parents to take away his poop so that a cat doesn't eat them all.

I have a sweet little 💓 baby bird I'm taking care of, and he's ADORABLE ❤️ 🐦 I named him little bare.😁 Because he had no feathers . But now he does.!!!!! 💞 I have fallen in LOVE 💝 with him.

Its not trained some type of birds pay attention to keep their home clean so they evolved with some kind of habit like that when baby takes a poo lifts his butt and mother will take his droppings out of the home
I love how they do this 😂 Ducks do it too, it was helpful when Wobbles was a wee fuzzbutt. I always knew when I needed to pick him up and hold his bum over the brooder when we were snuggling.
