This is great footage.. and a great find of course. But have you muted the video to hide background chat? It's a shame as it appears to be barking in the film. Was it audible in the flesh?
Hi thanks for the comment, I hadn't even actually realised that when edited the sound wasn't on 🤦♂️ altho it is barking it was very low and difficult to hear despite how close it was and yes it was a bit noisy in the hide but sometimes that adds to the occasion 👍
@@chriswaring7259 - no worries. And understood. As it happens, I have only ever heard a barking Little Bittern in the UK and never seen one! I did not assume you were in a hide actually... but even if outside, wind and other noises can undermine the audio too, unless, as you say, there is something (still) in retaining it that adds value. Anyway, thanks for posting! Cracking little bird. I hope to see one properly out in the open one day as you did!
