Reminds me of Circonflex's rant on artillery, after he got 1-shotted by a M44 in WoT. I regret wasting my time with that shit game. Wargaming would do everything but nerf artilery, or rebalance it. They have an irresistible urge to add abhorrent vehicles and shit balancing to their games and do EVERYTHING ELSE but remove it. I'm amazed they're still in business.

I think WG could do a test mode where there would be no CV'S and no subs, but I suspect they already know how that would go... Almost no one would voluntarily play against the two cancer classes.

If wargaming wasn't greedy they'd offer a load- a LOAD of boosters to anyone who keeps CV's and Subs when they heavily nerf them. Those upset their favorite ships have changed get an option refund of fake money- swap for another prem ship- or if they keep them reward them for doing so over a six month period with extra resource stuff. I'd then be making a bunch of new- surface ships with a niche each as well as game modes that use subs and cv's as the main part of them. Random - surface battle, random hunt battle, which is either a wolf pack of subs hunting a large surface fleet, and to address the proper speed subs go- the start of the battle will have a wolfpack buff for X timer so they can get into position. The CV hunt will be like the battle of midway two- or three- four smaller as more 'teams' are included carrier fleets with support ships have to hunt the other teams/factions. You can do 12v12 6 surface ships spawn somewhere with the goal of finding the cv and getting into range- or blowing up the other surface fleet, the CV group being AA shipis plus a Carrier with very little AA fire, who does get disabled by fires and floods.. and its first to blow up all the carriers. Players will want to run off and have a gun battle but some players will need to run AA cruisers/dd's and dodge torpedo beats- you'd also need to reward based on AA damage within distance of friendly carrier- or time spent undetected near carrier if you manage to find a good route to stay hidden most of the game, maybe playing into your ship choice based on air detection or how they stand out in the water. Next larger maps- server upgrades for more players planned, as well as fixing so many art bugs. something like these ideas could work- enabling AA to allow carriers to play the game again, remove the damage done by HE rounds to AA have it done in some other way as HE ships are toxic too.. Create a cgi model of kremlin with its armor layout and see if it'd even float.. and admit it never would and nerf it, and other problematic russian ships that could've never existed even if Russia and America worked together to build them. Never gonna happen though.

I haven't touched ships since Helldivers 2 came out, which is kinda sad, ships used to be my favorite game, I put thousands of hours into it, spent tens of thousands of dollars on it, was in a top clan and among the top players in asia, and now, it just doesn't interest me anymore, CB is the same thing over and over, ranked is polluted by trash players even in gold, randoms are full of CVs and subs which just ruin stealth play and countering a good sub player (at least when I last played the game) was impossible... the fun is just gone :(.

the +2 MM is killing it for me, play t-7 and i am the only t-7, everyone else is t-9, so i go to t-8 and get t-10 games......

I have heard for years of WOWs death. It’s like nuclear fusion… just few years away.

Their Shima and Gk are potatoes, it amazes me how many games some of these terrible players do, to get into the gold league.

I hate Z-42 for exactly the same reason. Handling is terrible. Salem has better turn circle than these tubs...

Flambass everything you stated in the last minutes is QFT. It is sad when Wargaming moved out of Russia, the west got the CV and Sub culture of Wargaming. You will note Lesta is doing the opposite for CV and Subs. Another problem with WoWS is the whole system is broken. At first I thought it was hardware of the servers. But when they had problems recently, I suddenly realized that their software of WoWS is FUBAR. Old Game engine not handling renders and the amount of objects in the game. Player list for teams in matches are getting less. The stupid tier 4 MM is active despite getting new players to XP faster to level 10. And optimization has never happened since the FPS problem 6 years ago. It's like WoWS is on cruise control while adding more weight to the vehicle. It's going to break very badly with these add ons sometime in the future. I hope I can see it.

What bugs me is dockyard missions to shoot down planes. Played 5 random in a row in T6, T7 and T8 and was in only one game with a CV who then never attacked me. I loathe CV"a and subs btw.

The game sound has been high for quite awhile. It’s louder than you are.

If they remove the entire Russian navy and al the CVs, we can start playing this game again...
