AHHHHHHHHHAHAHSHAAAAAA!!! OMG... that's SO what he was probably thinking!!!!!!!!! Don't touch me ok.... man, where do you come up with these? Oh man....... don't touch me.... wait till i tell the guys at work this one
@@discoraja9022 Only bc it scares the bird, if they trust you enough it shouldn't be a problem assuming the owner doesn't squeeze it like a stress ball
I trained my Quaker not to poop ever when he’s on my shoulder/ anywhere other than his cage or one of his stand up perches. They learn faster than you think! ❤ When they poop anywhere they aren’t supposed to immediately take them off of you and put them where they’re supposed to poop, and when they start catching on give them a treat every time they do. Birds are such a joy, I wish more people realized how amazing they are.
I’m love how tough cockatiels act It’s just so cute. Mine always acts like she’s gonna bite her tongue me to death whenever I tell her to stop doing something bad lol
Oh my word, my cockatiel literally will pull out keys if I let him walk. He knows not to be on my keyboard but sometimes he gets a little wild and begins pulling away at my keys. When ever I cook I always tell him he's next. Cockatiels are amazing.
My girl ones managed to pull one out and when I tried taking it from her she flew away with it xD She eventually dropped it, but she is not allowed on the keyboard anymore
I love how birds half-heartedly attack hands. Like do you think I'm a predator coming to eat you or do you think I want to play??? Make up your mind lol
Notice how calm and gentle the owner was. They didn't go too fast, but slowly, the whole time. This is because otherwise the parrot could have been scared and/or stressed. You are a good parent =)
You lucky, my conure has the keys off in milli-seconds. He's been given at least 6 keyboards to destroy; maybe a mistake since he has ninja technique now.
It's hilarious how many people comment about how you pick up your bird and how it will lose trust, yet it is our bond and the trust that lets us pick them up like a burrito! Geez.
@@michaelsuarez64 From my personal experience? Interacting with them regularly since they were hatchlings. I've raised a quite a few birds at this point. If you pick them up and hold them regularly from the time they are young, they are quite used to it as adults and won't raise much of a fuss. Just make sure to be gentle, and be mindful that young birds need to stay fairly warm.
Well prop because they don't trust you enough I'm sure your bird let's you pick them up but you have to spend a lot of time with your bird to pick them up like that 🙂
@Yessenia Perez He will jump on your hand. It's just that he thinks you'll cut his wings or could be because he isn't hand raised, so he doesn't let you grab him
Not the case for my bird(starling). I've raised her since she was a baby and didn't mind me picking her up. As she got older she started to not like it. She goes on my shoulders and perches on my arms and is pretty friendly. But if I get close to her with my hands she raises her head and pecks at them or runs away. I usually keep them still on my lap when sitting with her. Yet she will eat from my hand without any problems.@@AsaelTheBeast
i need to start implementing this honestly, she comes and tries to pull the keys off (i have a mechanical keyboard so its really easy to just yoink them off and toss them half way across the room)
Mine doesn't let a hand get close to him, if I want to interact with him I have to do it with my face. Recently he got the habit of landing on my head when I wake up or just walk too far from him, I always get nervous he'll shit on top of it for every minute that passes.
Funny mine is just the opposite. He doesn't mind hands, but he doesn't like your face too close even if he's sitting on your shoulder. My head became his favorite spot, he'll sit there for hours playing with my hair if I'd let him. Highly don't recommend being shat on unless you enjoy the feel of warm raw egg on your head. :P
AWWW! I'm getting another cockatiel that looks exactly like yours! Her name's Zazoo She's gonna be great friends with my other bird kiwi^^ have a great day everyone!!(´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`)
