What an amazing band! Have seen you since 1975 in Stockholm, then NYC on Hudson pier, Stockholm jazz & blues festival twice, in Malmö twice, loss of Lowell, Ritchie, now Paul. The music still lives and is doing well with new fine musicians. What a great fantastic band, I love you. Hope to to see you again, such a joy! Thank you for all great tunes and inspiration, totally fan forever, Love you Göran

Dernière version en date de "Dixie Chicken" ( souvent vers 1h30 de concert) et ça me met toujours les neurones d' équerre! J'adore ce morceau depuis 45 ans ! Encore une excellente version, merci !

Thanks Jim! It was a great week of shows and this set had Vince Herman's Teenage Nervous Breakdown, which might have been our favorite 4 minutes out of all ! Can't wait to go back !!!

How I miss the original drummer, Richie H. He was a fantastic competent and complex drummer - with some fine fills. He is very difficult - if not impossible - to substitute. Sorry. He drove the band forward with his precise drumming. And always on the beat.

Well, Richie Hayward was one of the very best who ever did it. It's all but impossible to replicate some of his sleepy, slinky funk coupled with incredible feel and precision. This drummer is not bad, but I agree with you that he's lacking the magic of Richie. But he had a very very unique style and the odds of finding a proper replacement are slim. The guy here is very good in his own way so I suppose we should just sit back and enjoy it. I mean the band does sound pretty doggone good here!

Love the cover of Allen Toussaint's "Yes, We Can, Can". Toussaint wrote for the whole world to sing, you rarely hear a bad cover of his music. This gets me goin'.

BION this was FM radio in 1975 all thru out socal, with Peter Frampton, a little new Zappa and these Lil' Feat~! They were ignoring Jethro Tull and others, yet they were about to FM radio the hell out of the Doors~!

That would be Vince Herman. In addition to solo performances, Vince is in a band called Leftover Salmon. I'm sure you can find RU-vid videos of them. You can also find other videos of Vince on my RU-vid channel. I'd suggest: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zOaY-h48db4.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ETBbREqNDfQ.html

Ritchie Hayward was a pretty unique drummer and a huge part of their sound and feel. He was a one off and could never be replaced. Having said that, these guys are a great band and they're turning a buck, so good luck to them.

I’ve seen them at least that amount. This isn’t a terrific performance but last week was with the new drummer. Go see them!!
@SlightReturn666
@SlightReturn666 2 года назад
I enjoyed it. Of course it's nothing like the real thing but these guys are rehearsed and darn good. Richie just brought something completely impossible to replicate. The slithery feel and just inhuman musicianship ... well, there's really no other drummer of which I'm aware that goes there. Just banging out 4/4 time is okay and I mean the band is very good here, but even so it definitely lacks that knee-buckling wobbly yet precise magic that the old Little Feat could develop like no other band.

I saw them this week in Morristown, NJ and believe me it was Feat! Much better than this effort. Tony Leone is a Ritchie clone. Scott must’ve spent the last night working on the feat sound and his vocals. It was terrific.

@SlightReturn666
@SlightReturn666 2 года назад
I don't think he's too too bad. He's at least trying. I mean you aren't going to get LG and that's that. Still, it's probably better to not try to imitate, which is what this guy does. There was a lead singer for a while -- I'm pretty sure his name was Craig Fuller or something close to that -- who didn't sing like Lowell George at all but nevertheless, in my opinion, made the band sound superb.

Hate to disagree but that guy is a great singer. Nice voice and great performance. What ruins this video for me is that the bass player pops the strings against his pickup through the whole concert. Ruined a nice show. Take a lesson from this aspiring bassists.....it's a no no and if you fall into this practice you will be worthless for live and studio recordings.
@SlightReturn666
@SlightReturn666 2 года назад
Your comment makes zero sense. Kenny Gradney is one of the original members of LF. I think it's fair to say that he has not proven worthless for live or studio recordings. So stfu dude.
