My mom said she her favorite color was blue when she was a kid it’s because people said girls shouldn’t like blue 😂 Edit: isn’t purple a gender neutral color? Edit 2: my favorite color is purple. But I’m very specific about my purples. If it’s even a bit pink it isn’t purple. I don’t hate pink like a lot of you though XD

Bruhhhh gender stereotypes are the worst. My best friend be a dude, and I can’t go a day without anyone thinking we are dating or we should date. Fun fact, we met in first grade, cause he complimented my Pinkie Pie shirt, and we got into an argument whether or not boys could like pink. Second grade came, and we were in different classes, so we couldn’t really talk. 3rd grade, we are in the same class, we become acquaintances. 4th grade, we walk the same route, so we talk again. If pink is a "girl's colour" and blue is a "boy's colour", shouldn't that mean purple is neutral because you get purple by mixing blue and pink? I think that if I was being forced to choose "boy colours" and "girl colours", it would be green and orange for boys and pink and red for girls, but anyone can like and wear whatever they want. Edit: my school is a bit similar, girls can only wear trousers if they're nonbinary or trans.

STORY TIME!: At a school I used to go to, we had this really chill principal. He was easily one of the best I’ve know. But, He was older and retired so a new principal was brought in. Now this woman was a nightmare. Much like the principal in the video, she was controlling and wanted everything and Everyone to be “Perfect”. Guys and girls couldn’t wear certain colours, had to have their hair at a certain length(no shorter, no longer), had to wear a uniform(Guys was a white button up, a bow tie, black slacks and *nice* dress shoes. Girls wore a blouse, a short skirt, heels and stockings). One day, outside of school, my friends and I are talking. Just hanging out and complaining about all the rules. So, with one of our friends Mum’s owning a really nice salon, we all went there to get our hair restyled. Us girls dyed our hair bright blue and cut it down to Mohawks, pixie cuts and others of the sort. The guys had their hair dyed bubblegum pink and got extensions in their hair, making their hair go down to their butts(us girls were clearly more committed, lol). And the next day we went to school in the opposite uniforms(guys wore the girls, girls wore the guys) and my entire friend group(like 15-20 of us) were all called down to the principals office in the middle of class. We walked down, other kids laughed, finding what we’ve done to be absolutely hilarious. When we got down there, our principal erupted with anger. Like she was *mad* at us. But we stood our ground. She said, that if what we’ve done isn’t changed by the next day(even the girls hair length), we were not allowed back to school, and we were kicked out of school for the day(we just went and hung out at one of our friends house). The next day, none of us had backed down, so we stayed home. Funnily enough, when we went out to hangout together, there was quite a few people from our school out as well, all matching what we’ve done. And the more and more we explored the town, the more we realized that like basically everyone was out, styled in the same fashion as us. We thought it was nuts. Later that night, we all got emails about how the new principal was being replaced for “Not following the rules set by the district’s standards” and “Chasing away pretty much every student” and that we could all come back to school the next day, looking however we wanted. Many people went back to the way they normally looked, but some of us(like your truly) kept what was their as we had grown accustomed to our new styles. Moral of the story: fight fire, with a shit ton of bright colours, new outfits and a pinch of disrespect 🖤🤍

No color is asigned to a gender infact did you know in the old day pink meant strength and masculinity while blue mean elegant and feminine! No body is the same and color doesn't play a role in your gender! Though i do feel if there is a uniform that goes by gender you should abide by the rules and if you feel uncomftorble there should be a way to adjust or tailor it to make it more comfortable though i feel the reason they were mad was because of the womens beliefs and the hair color the ecsesories ect. not the uniforms themselves

Okay, loads of people in the comment section are like FuN fAcT pInK uSeD tO bE a BoYs CoLoUr ext. But I actually knew the reason before finding this great gacha life vid. It’s because pink is a lighter shade of red and red was classed as a very manly colour, but they didn’t want to be too harsh with it so it became lighter, -> pink. And on the girls side, they used to wear blue/navy because blue was classed a very royal/posh colour, girls were very stereotyped back then, (Such as being posh and classy). So yeah, that’s what I got from my research of it. Please don’t attack me, it’s just what I found ;/ Bye!
