We spent Christmas and New Years down on Little Gasparilla Island off the coast in Southwest Florida. It requires a water taxi to get there, but we found some creative ways to ride down the beach to get to another area that allows a regular Ferry ride. As well as being cheaper, this gave us a great way to regularly make day trip cycle touring rides on the Salsa Fargo and the Surly Ogre as well as bring back groceries to feed the families. It was a great time enjoying some warm weather and sunny Southwest Florida. If you ever get a chance, be sure to check out Little Gasparilla Island
