I have to ask why I haven't heard of this band before today. I am pushing through the RU-vid library and just flabbergasted as I listen to them perform.
I'm really glad that someone else had that thought pop into their head. I keep thinking that it was like the Deal Twins joined Archers of Loaf instead of forming the Breeders.
I've been a fan for a while, but have not looked in on them for a minute. I'm glad I'm a subscriber and got alerted to this today. Whoever filmed this no disrespect but it's not just the Kelli show. More Peyton and Kurtis. LOVE THESE KIDS!
It offends me that Skating Polly is not huge. Sometimes moody and mellow. Sometimes fast and bouncy. Sometimes light and lilting. Sometimes dirty and punky. Always slighty mad and totally awesome.
Bonolio don’t be upset that they’re not huge....with fame comes corruption...the lime light isn’t a fun life in many cases ...people sell their souls and end up like Britney Spears crisis shaving her head bald...lol we don’t need anymore Britneys...Lindsey’s....curt cobains...we don’t need anymore Mac millers or Chester Benningtons...we don’t need anymore Chris Cornells or dime bag darrels... fame doesn’t make them great...fame often destroys them... enjoy them while you can and pray they don’t lose themselves with their talent.
@@alexythimia23 you lost all credibility with "what they do as it’s very simple and there are thousands of bands like this"...you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
@@wordsretainpower6250 it not only destroys them but also the music. If Skating Polly was huge they wouldn’t be making the music that their fans like. The last decade where u could be huge playing the music you like was the 90’s
Seen them live last year and they're awesome. I say this with great respect, Kelli performing with her unique expressions and enthusiasm remind me of our beloved late Gord Downie of the The Tragically Hip. Different styles of course, but same magnetic passion. Can't wait to see them live again soon.
I saw them in Edmonton and they were great. Beyond great. It's too bad that they don't get more exposure though. The tickets to the show were only $12 Canadian, which is about $8 US, and there was maybe 20 people there. Of course, that was awesome for me. It felt like my own private show, but they deserve better. And now, what incentive do they have to come back?
Gerhard Jason Geick I live in Russia and I’ve almost accepted that I’m probably never going to see them live because it would be too expensive for them to travel here, nevermind renting a venue. I don’t know any other fans of them here, and I’m too broke to go to the US.
Skating Polly - amazing musical discovery, but how long band will live? And were evolution bring it? That's reason to follow and watch, I hope, it will be long and interesting. Be carefully at 27 years, you all.
28 yr old who just found her favorite band...lol please don’t riddle your stuff with baphomet and upside down stars and stuff lol I’d like to stay a fan forever ❤️ never sell out....the lord gave you some serious talent
Fantastic. It offended me that this band played Fort Collins in a bar. No. No. Put them at Washington's with some other indie bands and let them play at a stand-up proper musical venue.
