Little girl mistakes old man for Santa Claus and he adorably plays along ❤️

On second thought seeing this old man eagerly kneel knowing he couldn't easily get up just to make this kid's day is so heartwarming. Such a sacrifice he makes. Truly a kind person indeed.

What we don’t realize here is that the little girl is the one that made his day. Pretty sure he must have thought about this all day and how he was able to create an impact on the next age … no matter how small. After all, purpose is what we live for

To me, this IS Santa. Santa couldn't be more kind hearted than this man.

I too have that 'Santa' look about me, and every year around Christmas, I get to see the Childrens eyes light up when they see me... and you bet I play along... there is nothing more touching than the wonder of a Child, the world gets tough quick enough. A little joy for them (and their Parents seem to get a kick out of it too) can change the day in an instant. 🎅🎅🎅

The beautiful innocence of children and the kindness of strangers is what the world needs right now. I was thinking today that all people in the world want the best for their children. We all have that in common. If only that could bring us together somehow.

For years my husband has been mistaken for Santa. He's really a big ol biker but he makes an excellent Santa for little kids who think they just had the experience of a lifetime running into Santa while out shopping. Big white beard, white hair, and a big round belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly. After Halloween until a little after Christmas every year you would think he is a major celebrity. He has to give hugs, listen to what is on their Christmas lists, and has pictures taken with random kids by their mothers every time he goes out. He has even had parents buy his dinner while dining out because he takes the time everytime to talk to every child who thinks they are talking to the real Santa . He says it's fun to give the kids a moment of magic. Kids get so few of those moments these days he is so happy to be one that can give them a memory most remember for their whole lives.

So sweet and interesting seeing her swinging her arms in excitement. Like a puppy wagging its tail.

man, his soft speech, getting on his knees with an injury so they could be on the same level, all his kind demeanor towards the girl are so so beautiful!! You could tell he was a little hurt at first but clearly put a big effort still to say all the right things, pausing sometimes to think about what he would say next not to ruin the magic of christmas for this lil baby. And just look how happy and proud she was that she was having a conversation with Santa, lol What a wonderful human being I look up to people like him. His humanity was never lost along the way!

I think she made his day as much as he made hers. Loved this!

If the innocence of small children doesn't melt your heart, you may be a monster. Watching my son learn new things and watching his eyes light up with amazement brings me more joy than anything else I can describe. This man gets it.

If a child calls you santa or any other character, it doesn't matter how you're dressed, you're now that character to them! For him to play along was truly heartwarming to see. What a nice man. Bless him.

What's crazy is that the way he played along so well, she's gonna legit believe she talked to Santa for probably a few more good years, just for that.

Went on holiday with my family last week and my dad was also called Santa by a kid haha, fun little interaction. My dad says the kid mumbled something that sounded like “Santa” but other than that, the kid didn’t talk to him but just stared at him with a little grin as his parents walked him away lol.

What a genuine experience for this little girl. Just him crouching down and making a better connection with this little one makes a big difference. As a short child, I can remember when adults would speak with me, the ones who bent down were the ones who made the biggest impact. This made my day.

When my kids were about this age we went out to dinner. At a table next to us the elderly gentlemen greatly looked the image of Santa. The kids peeked at him throughout the meal. Then asked if they could say hi. That elderly gentleman's face lit up when they went over to his table & he played the role so well we knew he'd done it countless times. My kids are in their late 30s now & have never forgotten that day.

Clearly she made his DAY more than he made hers ❤ so sweet I had so many older men do stuff like this for me growing up. It makes me miss this generation of people. Today’s generation is just so terrible. This man is from a good generation and time where people did kind things.

He obviously enjoys this! He’s dressed in red and grooms his beard and mustache in a traditional “Old Saint Nick” style. All he has to do is show up in a store and small children will flock to him! What a good hearted man. He’s so gentle and kind! I love to see so much good in the world!

I remember when I was a little girl, I saw an old man walking around in December and, in my eyes, he looked very much like Santa. So I said: Santa? And that man did 🤫 and then smiled at me. I never forgot it, and I am sure this little girl won't either! Such a magical time.

This is whats great about children, they have this great wonder, imagination and belief in things that most of us as adults lose when we get older. It is that same wonder, imagination and belief that can bring happiness and joy in our lives.

This happened to my son when he was about 5. He was so excited to see Santa in the middle of summer in Texas of all places. The man was sweet enough to go along with it. My son is now a man with his own child. Thank you random Mr Santa who ever you are.
