Love your channel and videos. Would love to see you doing more comparable tests on the same truck in the future. For example, run the same indoor and outdoor locations with the same truck with changing the tires over. Since your builds are unique, would love to see a more objective test on tires on the same truck/chassis. Keep up the awesome content!
Ask and you shall receive! I plan to do a swamp king, competition pin, and mud boss tire comparison in the near future. I’ll do just as you suggest: objective comparison on the same rig.
@@CapeCrawlers i would also like that aswell. I'm a new viewer and that is something that i was going to suggest, so I'm glad someone else pointed that out. other then that great content. I'm new to 1/24 scale crawling, and I'm looking to buy my first rig, to build on, I'm hearing a lot of good things about the fms fcx24? should i believe the hype? and what is the aftermarket like/ where can i find one? or do you recommend me going scx24 and why?
@@jasonanderson7020 I'm going to do a direct comparison video and upload it later this week. That may help you with your decision. The Axial is very well established, as is the aftermarket. The FCX is just hitting its stride.
@@CapeCrawlers I think you did a great job man. This stuff isn't easy to communicate. And seeing the way the side wall would ripple and conform to the terrain was pretty unbelievable. I'm fairly new to RC (my background is in full size 4x4s) but I haven't seen any other 24th scale tire fold that dramatically. Great video, subbed 🙌
Ordered a set of Swamp Kings 2 days ago then got an email to say the Grippers were available today to order 😀👍🏻. So i have 2 sets of Little Guys Racing tyres on their way to me and it may sound stupid, but i dont care 😜, i’m like a kid on Christmas Eve and cant wait for them to fly themselves over to the UK and drop on my doorstep 😜😜🤙🏻🤙🏻. Another awesome video Adam, very informative and just down right quality entertainment Bud 👍🏻😀. I love the look of your Deadbolt and has totally changed the way i look at them now. At fisrt i really didnt like the body but now it totally makes sense with having no fenders and a wicked approach angle. I’m currently bidding on a green C10 but if that falls through i’m defo getting a deadbolt. Awesome channel with even better videos and builds ❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@CapeCrawlers i think your doing just fine Adam and also think that the channel will go very far. For me there is no better channel out there covering the SCX24’s and as long as you’re making the videos i will be defo watching 🤙🏻🤙🏻. I also told a few of my pals to have a look at your channel and they are now hooked like i am 😂. Quality entertainment at its best 👍🏻❤️🤙🏻
outstanding tire,s. they are very nice on real rocks, the swamp king is a blast crawling around!!! i like them the best, thanks,,,,great job editing too,
I love LGRP Tyre's, I prefer my swamp king's over trail king's I don't agree with LGRP tyre's being easy to install,I've found softer compounds harder to install. But I believe they are the best
Mud terrain M/T’s my go to tire, with flubber stuffers slime balls V3 , Appreciate sharing they do look awesome I might try it set with the Flubber stuffers. Catch you on the next one
Hey...hardpark needs to send you a care package they got new axles that are 10mm extended 7075 insane and a new chassis plus crazy carbon wheels cool stuff
That's a tough one because of the size differences. I think my top five would go like this: LGRP swamp king Injora 64mm rock terrains RC4WD scrambler LGRP gripper Proline Hyrax
hi capes i was wondering if u could give me rough measurement of escalator ur crawler hills. i would really like to add something similar to my track if u wouldint mind ? cheers from canada
There might be tires that my C10, or Bronco wheels would shed their Patagonias, or my Gladiator it's Scramblers for, but I don't feel a need for tryouts.
@@CapeCrawlers They are. I haven't tried enough to say they're the best, just that they work on my real and fake rocks more than the 3 or 4 other sets I have tried. I like watching how others perform though so thanks for doing this.
No I don't but I wish I did! I am going to do an addition and I will document it. Winter is coming here in new england, so I'll need more obstacles to climb on indoors!
I have a set of Hyrax tires and love them, but there is no comparison in terms of softness. I will add I am not sure if the Hyrax's I have are in the predator compound. So, with that said, the grippers are night and day softer.
