Little House Soundtrack 

little house had such amazing music. the only thing more amazing is how no record label has decided to issue a soundtrack set out of it!!

This is so awesome why don't they release the music I'm sure all Little House fans would agree this is excellent music and relaxing

A number of year ago, Melissa Gilbert lived in Michigan and she had an auction of some of her belongings. One of the items for auction was the original, framed sheet music from Little House, which was signed by the composer, David Rose. In Mr. Rose's handwriting, there is a note of admiration from him to Melissa Gilbert with the inscription that this score is "Copy #1." I decided that I had to have it, regardless of the cost. Bastards at one of the museums kept trying to outbid me, they ran the auction up to an awful amount, but I won. It is one of my most prized possessions.

The song at 7:58 is the so called Laura and Almanzo's theme and that particular version is from Season 8 - A Wiser Heart

Let us go back in time Little House on the Praire an icon production right from the start a GREAT favourite of mine, with SUPERB beautiful music that continues to move you in SO many different ways throughout the SUPERB series allowing your own heart to soar and uplifts you right to the heavens, Combine this FABULOUS music with the SUPERB TALENTED leading actors and SUPERB TALENTED supporting actors combine this wonderful music to their roles their portraying in each scene it fits them to PERFECTION. Although time passes hearing them on this track the children;'s voices in the background when it is their recess and they are playing base ball feels as though you have NEVER left this timeless golden classic television series. FABULOUS such a DELIGHT. Memories are made of this. 🤩

Oh my goodness THANK YOU for this from the bottom of my heart!! I suddenly remembered this show that I used to watch when I was little (THIS was quality tv), and was SO sorrowful to not be able to find the music anywhere! Listening to the made me beam from ear to ear ❤️❤️

I got to love Glen Campbell and often wondered why. Being a big fan of little house growing up in the 1970s, subconsciously I loved the music from the show. When I watched True Grit and listened to the main theme as sung by Glen, the sentiment of the arrangement reminded me of why I loved Little House for the folks and the storylines..IT WAS THE MUSIC TOO! True Grit as sung by Glen fits into the glorious arrangements of Little House. God bless David Rose. My love of music certainly stems from the emotional themes from this beloved show. I do wish they'd release stereo masters of this incidental music as it's so SO beautiful as are the characters and the show. Nice effort on presenting some music here but nothing comes near to having the stereo masters which I guess never saw the light of day. ..If they are in stereo and if they exist at all...

but you missed probably my favorite song and most touching songs in the series. One place in the shows I know it was at was in Winoka. When Adam came into Mary's room to get her. When he said, " someone needs to marry you or they're going to be calling you a spinster." or something like that. Then the music starts around there. Such a great tune. But great songs you picked though :).

With all of the awful stuff going on in our country and in the world right now.. this play list and thinking of simpler times gets me through 💕
