Little India NYC : Take a tour of two Indian supermarkets in Little India Jackson Heights Queens and see what they sell. An Indian grocery store in the USA is not like any supermarket you are used to. New York City has a large Indian population and many of them come to Little India to stock up on Indian food. Which Indian supermarket is better, Apna Bazaar or Patel Brothers supermarket?

Another point. Shoppers come in, buy what they want, and leave. No entertainment, "vibes" and hype. Just a good, straightforward place to get what you need. I love it.

Basic, decent, minimally packaged foods that enable you to create wonderful dishes. Asian cuisine is the best in the world.

Jackson heights Apna Bazaar is owned by 2 Partners Jaswinder Singh and Deepak Bhardwaj. Though with humble beginnings they developed an empire Stretching many states in the USA

Wow!.. what a coincidence I just saw your vlog grocery shopping in a Russian supermarket comparing the prices to the USD on the outskirts of Moscow and now you are in my neighborhood of Roosevelt Ave Jackson Heights Queens NY. Glad to hav ya!. I do shop in those places. Patel Bros..Subzi Mandi..Apni Bazaar..for my exotic spices plus the food at the restaurants are delicious..😋. Keep up the excellent vlogs. A good watch. Safe Travels brother. I will be visiting Moscow ..Ukraine (Kyiv & Lviv) and Belarus in summer 2020. Taking a long vacation of 6 weeks. Can't wait. Been saving up my vacation days.

I grew up in Astoria and Jackson Heights. Subzi Mandi used to be where Apni Bazaar is now. My mother used to buy her spices there. I may be back in Russia in the spring or summer. Sounds like a great trip you got planned. If you go to Russia, definitely check out St Petersburg too.

@@ToGoIsToKnow...just became a subby...will look out for your future adventures...✌.. I will walk with my camera and document my travels and upload it ...this will be fun...😁. Just ordered a gimbal stabilizer and a rode mini microphone from ebay...to hook on to my Nikon...🙂. Getting ready early...will give it a trial run around Christmas time in the city and upload it..😁✌
