This streamer is to mimic small minnows and baitfish that predator fish hunt regularly. Minnows especially. Tied in this color pattern its great for fishing in the gulf for redfish and seatrout as a finger mullet imitation, or even as a fly for fishing bass and trout in rivers or lakes as a minnow imitation. The pearl belly perfectly imitates a small baitfish with a transparent belly.
Hook: Daiichi 1750
Fiber: Bull Frog Dubbing - Caddis tan, caddis brown, and caddis orange
Flash: Starburst Dubbing - Pearl, tan and golden peacock
Eyes: 4mm 3D eyes
Head Cement and Fletch Tite for adhesive

Wow!!! Been watching lots of fly tying vdo, this one, my friend, is the BEST I've seen!!! Like the text insert. N the swimming vdo at the end. Do u have vdo of u fishing with this fly???

+Kito Phio thank you that's really nice to say. No unfortunately I don't have video of me fishing this fly. It's tough to film and fish without someone there helping. I soon will have some videos of me fishing, as I have a few buddies that want to help out, but that might be a few months away. Thanks for watching man, glad you enjoyed the video.

Nice little pattern. Never considered using the bull frog dubbing in that manner. Just gave me some ideas on making big streamer heads. Keep them coming

+david collins thanks! Yeah this stuff works well, I love using it. I know it's a dry fly dubbing, but it seems to work for streamers... in fact I got it originally as a dry fly dubbing but I found it to be too course and long fibers for my uses. Ended up trying it for a Streamer one day and loved it.

Thanks! If you are talking about cutting the fiber in half, then no not really. The 2nd to the last fiber clump (tan, tied on the bottom of the fly) should be full length so it covers over the pearl starburst. The brown on the top though should be cut in half, but try it with full length. Get creative. My video's aren't for exact re-creations. I want these video's to show techniques or give ideas to others. So make the fly your own, try different lengths. :) Just make sure that there is enough fiber at the top, and less at the bottom of the fly, to keep it swimming upright.

I site the music Im required to. The other stuff I got off my editing program. Its free to use on I-Movie. I forgot the name of the song actually. But you can't get it unless you have i-movie so...

Not sure how im not professional. LOL But... again, its on I-movie... Its free for use, and only possible to get if you have I-Movie. I am sorry if I sounded rude to you, that was not my intention. But I work about 60 hours a week on this channel, and have a full time job as well (oh and have 2 kids) and my wife has a full time job. Soooooo I dont really have a lot of time to go look through my I-Movie catalogue to find the name of the song. But again, its just a clip, all songs on I-Movie are short clips of songs. That was the entire song in my intro. :) Have a good day.

Your work is fine, but I am asking myself and asking you a question; all these filaments of more or less plastic material will end up in the water and/or in the bellies of fish. You and I and millions of Internet users would surely like to be able to enjoy many more years of the benefits of this planet.
