confetti is definitely little mix's most honest album. it talks about their freedom and independence not just as a person but also as an artist. they made several points with LM5 about their struggles as women in the industry, and now they are celebrating 'coz they are finally free. i really hope this albums get more recognition because this is such a great work of art, definitely one of the best releases this year.

Also: “I don’t do what Simon says” can also be seen as a jab at Simon Cowell. Just some food for thought :)

Btw most of the head voice/falsetto you’re hearing is my baby Jade. Like I’m Happy 4 U the falsetto is Jade. And as Jesy told her, she has an angelic voice

Breathe is definitely a grower, the chorus made me rank it towards the bottom on my initial listen but now it’s in my top five! The beginning and ending are fantastic and Jesy’s voice always makes me choke up

Lyrically, I woulda loved if the girls kept going in the direction of their last album, LM5, taking on more mature topics such as finding self-love, the struggles women go through, embracing yourself and all your flaws, not giving a fvck about haters, respecting women, not needing a man to feel happy, and a lot of other subjects. I feel like Confetti is lyrically like their album Glory Days, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but after LM5, I feel like we all expected something like that. But in an interview Jade and Leigh-Anne did, Jade talked about how they’re all in a happy place right now and don’t feel the need to continue to talk about those subjects in their music because they already talk about it all the time in their interviews. I completely understand and respect that. Sonically, I absolutely LOVE this album, probably up there with one of my favorite Little Mix albums to date. I personally feel like a lot of this album is a grower, and I constantly find myself choosing a new favorite song every single day.

The album has no skips, such a masterpiece

oh my gosh, i just realized something. what if breathe has sounds typically heard in church because the song and this whole album has been about the end of an old thing and the beginning of a new thing? what are two important life events that occur in a church? weddings and funerals. so the end of the relationship is the death of one part of their life but it’s also the beginning of them moving on and being better.

This record is hands down their most cohesive and consistent to date. Like every song has a moment and they all sound like they belong on the record, even though there are ones I'm not too fond of lol.
