I hated when the judges said they need a lead singer. People don’t realize that other styles of singing sound amazing too... yes Perrie can belt it out, but Leigh Anne has some amazing rapping skills and a really nice grit to her voice. Jesy has great tone and her vibrato is untouchable. Jade has great control over her voice and can sing a wide range. Without one of them it wouldn’t be little mix...
I think Jade's part in "Secret Love Song Part 2" is the best thing ever, it's so touching! Altough Perrie and Jade are my favorite singers (and Jade is my favorite member), I'm glad they all get to sing!
Them not having a lead singer is my favorite thing about Little Mix. There isn't one person taking the spotlight or overshadowing everyone else. That's a key component that makes them different from other girl bands that came before them
yes! and as a result they sound great together, because each of them has a unique quality to their voice that contributes to so well to the overall performance. also I'm guessing it helps to keep their bond strong :)

They all changed their minds right near the end of the competition, I'm pretty sure they were just trying to sabotage them because they started realising that they could be able to win.

love it when Tulisa stood up for them. there's no leader in the group. every member has their own talent individuality, the other judge compare them to supremes saying that the supreme had a leader that is Diana Ross. Tulisa said they are not the Supremes they are Little Mix

Tulisa deserves SO much respect for her sincerity, heart & faith as a judge and coach! I wonder if Little Mix ever kept in touch with her after X Factor, it's none of my business but I just really hope they did. Especially after she was done so dirty by that reporter.
@@ninke1488 One reporter send out a video of tulisa with her struggle and personal life which she wants to keep it personal, but the reporter leaked all the things. Also, one man blamed her and say she sold drugs but she didn't. She has to go through courts and laws and stuff which she has to deal with for a long time. Many people left tulisa at that moment. We can just say that, the man ruined Tulisa's career. That's what i heard bout the story.

IT WAS FATE!!! Jade, Jesy & Leigh-Anne gravitated towards each other even before they were in a group. Then Perrie came and fit in the group like a puzzle piece.
Weren't both Jesy and Leigh-Anne at the Sylvia Young Theatre School? They are the same age so must have done some classes together. They look like they turned up for the audition together here.
@mapsandstuff2923 Neither of them were full time students and they weren't necessarily there at the same time (I assume Jesy was there around the time she appeared as an extra in About a Boy). Jesy and Leigh Anne have confirmed that they met at their first auditions but they didn't know each other before.

Honestly not having a “lead singer” is like 90% of why little mix are still together and killing it when so many fell apart the lead singer mentality breaks up so many bands because it gets so competitive then they all end up trying to prove they can be the lead singer and it’s so heartbreaking

I hate that the judges keep telling them to get a lead singer. They don't and that's what makes them so special and so good! That's one of the reasons that they're still together, they work together and they don't try to push over who should get the most parts!

the reason little mix won’t tumble and fall apart like fifth harmony did in 4 years is because there’s no lead singer and they’re all equal as talented. no one wants the spot light more than the others and that’s why they’ll be so much more successful because that unbreakable bond they all have.

it’s so weird to think that if just one of the didn’t audition or if they were kept in different groups then little mix would have never been a thing. just makes me think about all the other bands/groups that could have existed but aren’t, if that makes sense ??
Elías Paz both groups had friendship but unlike 5h (which I love obviously based on my pfp) LM doesn't have a lead singer, 5h had Camila as their lead singer although they never said it
@@taecami Yes, I do believe 5H had a true friendship, but the girls in LM are much more similar to each other than the girls of 5H. They're about the same age, they all went to stage school instead of taking the academic track, they're of similar social class - which is a big deal in the UK - and 2 were even from the same town. 5H had the opportunity to bond but when you have 14 and 15 year olds who are still in school joining a group with someone of college-age, there will always be an imbalance, especially when the youngest are also the stars of the group.

Well Tulisa did a great job then... Because the main job of a mentor is to see their students success.. and if the students surpass the mentor thats because her teaching get them there!
When everyone but Tulisa is going on about how little mix need a lead and Jade says "Perrie does have a bit more in the next song, so if you want, you can see then," It KILLS ME. Like, you can see their hearts breaking and you've gotta give some credit to Pez for not havin a diva attitude and making sure everyone knows they can all sing. I love them so much, and Little Mix not having a lead is one of the best parts of Little Mix! Having a lead would've totally changed the dynamic of the group, and I don't think they'd be so close still and still be together if they'd designated a lead! Ugh, I love these girls so much, and I can't bloody wait for LM5!!
I love the fact that the girls' personalities haven't changed. They haven't let the industry break them, they remain humble and have the best friendship in the world (who doesn't want to be their friends?). Judges kept repeating that Little Mix needed a lead singer to succeed, but look where they came from without having to belittle anyone in the group. I love Kelly for having formed Little Mix, but it was Tulisa who fought for them. Tulisa didn't force them to have a lead singer and let them be the group they wanted to be, and that's one of the factors that makes the group one of the best in the world. I heard them when I was younger, but I didn't pay attention and now I just want to go back in time and punch myself. I'm glad that I discovered theirs songs. Better later than never, right?
i think one reason they are so successful is because they dont have a lead singer which overshadows everyone else, and thats why they are still together today,because there isnt that lead singer who gets all the opportunities as the others have no purpose like fifth harmony with camila cabello
And now here they are 10 years later. Perrie and Leigh are gonna be mums and they were the first girl group to win Best British Group at the Brit awards. I’m so so proud of them and how far they’ve come. They are so amazing.
When the judges were saying that in a group there's always a lead singer, that's obviously not true. Even to this day, Little Mix very evenly distributes their solos. Why? Because they're not like every other group. They're Little Mix. So ready for album 5. #LM5
Jan Pin yea but not all songs it’s the same pattern. Like one song perrie sings the most, another Jade, another everyone has even, another Jesy, etc. Like in groups with lead singers the lead singer sings always the most, theirs no lead singer in Little mix
Well I wouldn't say that perrie for away with some outfits that would have been v questionable on say jesy or Leigh anne but that was because she was the baby of the group and she was just 18

I’m not really a fan of them but I admire the fact that they work so well together despite originally not being a group and I think the reason they work so well together is because they were all pure hearted girls who had good attitude and neither one of them ever thought they were better than the other

Hahaha yes I was learning plant biochemistry and shortly checked RU-vid during lunch break... A video of their best accapella performances in my recommendations, a few interviews and their evolvement on x factor later I've grown to love them even more😂😂
