55:00 fun fact: 'Dont Let Go' performance was their turning point in the competition. Although they never landed in the bottom in this season, they weren't yet the favorites to win but after this performance they became the front runner and basically won in that moment.

it's so cool how little mix defied all the expectations by not having a lead singer. Even Kelly said every girl group has a lead singer, and ten years later theyre still proving her wrong!!

I still can't believe that was 9 years ago🥺 I remember I was 7yo while watching them on the X Factor with my grandma and I was their biggest fan ever since. I used to watch them on stage and said to my grandma: "I want to do that too! I want to be like them!" I just can't believe how far they've came, they taught me not to give up, to embrace my imperfections, to love myself the way I am and to do what I love! My biggest dream is to meet them and to get to sing next to them on stage🥺❤

Yeah Gary was a judge in the X-Factor replacing Simon for the years he wasn't there. Gary is from the boy band (now man band) take that. If you've heard of Robbie Williams, take that is the group he was from. Tulisa was from the group N-Dubz. Take that did a carpool karaoke with James Corden. It's my favourite one. Edit: and take that's music is the music played in the background.

It's so crazy because even you know that they win the competition you still get so nervous for them and you can feel all of their emotions. They are soooooo talented!!!!!!! I am so proud of every single one of them!!! 9 years together and hopefully 100 years to go!!!!

The Saturdays are a fairly well-known girl group in the UK, and the "Don't Let Go (Love)" performance was definitely the moment that pushed them into winner territory in the eyes of the public.

Ok so - Gary Barlow (the man on the right of the panel) is 1/5 of a British band called Take That (who u should check out) and also he has a solo career, Kelley Rowland is 1/3 of Destiny’s child and has a solo career , Tulisa is from N-Dubz (not sure how many members there were) and she also has a solo career , and Louis Walsh (the man on the left of the panel who spoke first after their first live performance) is a manager and has managed bands like Westlife (I think 😂) and the presenter is called Dermot O Leary and he presents a few things over here 🧡

I just finished wathing the full reaction and I'm in tears, AGAIN! haha Ive been a fan of Little Mix since 2015 (sad I didnt discover them right after the Xfactor) but Ive watched their Journey multiples times already! I sooo love the reaction and i was moved when I saw Katie shed a tear! It was really emotional. The final took place over Saturday & Sunday night. At the end of Saturday night a third act, 17 year old soloist Amelia Lily got knocked out. Cannonball was the winner's single and all three acts recorded it but only the two finalists performed it on the show. It became the Christmas No.1 for 2011.

I remember watching them that year, I think i was 15? And I just remember them being my favourite. Their ET performance is so memorable! And the En Vogue song and the final... I just remember being so happy that they won. They deserved it so much and I’m so proud of how far they’ve come. I’m so grateful that I’ve got to follow their journey from the beginning. They’re so amazing and inspiring. And I hate the judges for trying to get them to have one lead singer! Just because that’s how it’s been done in the past doesn’t mean that can’t change! Little Mix are changing the music industry for the better. I love these girls so much.

The girls weren't considered one of the contenders of actually winning the show until they did "Don't let go" Everyone took more notice after they did. The band they meet @53:25 is a British girl band called the Saturdays that were around for a few years, they have been on hiatus since. 2014.

Am i really about to rewatch their 2hr x factor journey and become a blubbering mess just to see you guys react to it? Absolutely

That song was "Don't let go" from En Vogue. Kelly Rowland referenced En Vogue in the previous comments so they went with an En Vogue song. This was a really game changer it convinced everyone that LM could actually win the contest. If you watch a X factor different video "X factor Winner's Story" the judge Gary Barlow (who was mentor to the men) pretty openly admitted that after this performance as a mentor he saw LM as a threat to his contestant and afterwards he began openly hostile towards LM to try and get them to lose, including trying to split the group up with the "lead singer" BS. Luckily he failed. You can see their second performance was "About a Boy" from Beyonce where Perrie's vocals were front and center and incredible but Gary still insisted "not good enough". The voters obviously disagreed and put the girls through to the semifinals. I guess I could understand Gary because he was just trying to protect his contestant at any cost but what an A***hole. Another reason why he and Kelly both sort of went after LM on the "lead singer" issue was Kelly's experience in Destiny's Child (and she was the females singer mentor so she was going after them too). But Gary Bertlow also had personal reasons because he is part of the Brit band "Take That", and the lead singer Robbie Williams left the group and became much more successful as an individual artist, which must have hurt Gary a lot just like Beyonce leaving Destiny's Child hurt Kelly but they both need to justify this pain by saying there has to be a lead singer. But being united is what is the best of LM and makes us all believe in them.

Awww it’s so sad to see Caroline Flack (co presenting with Olly Murs) in this, unfortunately she committed suicide after the media in the U.K. terrorised her. Little Mix still going strong after 9 years!!

I know I’ve already commented but I just got to the end and it was amazing! I remember watching this when it was on and spending sooooo much money voting for little mix every week!
