Honestly did not expect Timothee Chalamet as a talking moon being the most normal thing about the sketch.

it's rare that a new cast member is this natural right out the gate, i'm so glad chloe finally got to lead a sketch! she absolutely killed it, can't wait to see more of her

That first note slayed me. Like most of the comments here, I think she has a great voice but she also has that comedic ability to make it sound and look ridiculous at the same time. I think part of it is the faces she pulls through out the sketch.

Yes Chloe! More of this, please. Even though she played it for comedy, she legit can sing. And whoever wrote this song knocked it out of the park.

Took me a couple seconds to realize that it was actually Chloe singing cause it sounded far better than I'd think someone on SNL should sound

Did anyone else notice how excited the other cast members were for Chloe Troast at the end when they broke set? So nice. And, yes, she was funny has hell!

To sing those low notes is really hard, especially if you are nervous. Chloe didn’t seem nervous at all. This was an amazing performance. SNL are building a really talented cohort of performers at the moment. Long may it continue.

This sketch went to a whole other level when Chloe started singing. You know the "this character is so crazy, let's have everyone react to how crazy she is," script to a tee, but she adds so much life to the material and makes it feel fresh. There's none of the usual where oh someone is making a wacky face, laugh here. A starmaking performance. Then everything gets better and better - Timothee's reactions to her, Mikey as her creepy boyfriend, and the ending.

This is Emmy worthy. This was incredible. I had to rewind multiple times because I was laughing.

I’ve watched this skit a least a dozen times since it first aired. Hope she makes full cast member for season 50. This skit and her Get That Boy back skit were 2 of my favs from the season.

Never stop showing those couple of seconds after the sketch ends. It's great to see the people give a quick "hell yeah that was good" and start scrabbling to get to the next one.

genuinely love that chloe got to lead this sketch. new cast members don't often get to shine for a while (which is kinda antithetical to them being there...) but she killed it here. easily the funniest sketch of the night for me bonus: while she knows how to make it humorous, you can tell her voice is great

First time I've cried laughing at SNL in forever. This was a great episode throughout, but the over the top singing just took me out.

I've watched this video at least 10 times already!! Chloe Troast is a talent to keep an eye on. Whoever came up with the ages 26 and 18 months, and 40 and 30 months is genius!!

I think her voice has that Broadway quality to it. She has the range, good use of chest, mix voice and belting qualities. I would love her showcase her vocal abilities more!

I’m pretty proud of Chloe Troast here! She’s a brand new cast member this year and is already starring in a sketch! Plus, what a voice (which I somehow mean both unironically AND ironically at the same time).
