Little Pee Dee River endangered by development in South Carolina 

For the first time in almost a decade, a South Carolina River is listed on the Endangered Rivers list.
The American Rivers listed the Little Pee Dee River at number five in its 2024 Top 10 list of rivers at risk, due mainly to the Interstate 73 project which would cut through the river.
