@@hoss011 naw...they dont condone it, but they will not turn away a person who had relapsed or is still drinking daily! One thing a/a does have a problem with, is narcotics anonymous, the people who are on a medication that keeps them away from their drug of choice...they claim, n/a people arent ""clean"" if they use a medication like methadone.! But...most "aa" people i know, alot are on hardcore pills! They eat legal heroin ! But refuse to see any connection. hydrocodone , or legal fentynal patches for "back pain" but they are not addicts to opiates because the doctor gave them to the person, when i explain its just heroin in pill and patch...they argue methadone is the same...uh no... its an opioid blocker! It dont get you high! Thats why an NA had to be developed, cus alcoholics are judgemental if it dont fit there big blue book to the letter or how they interpret and understand it, i pray they sit in on a NA group and listen ! when their aa group is canceled for the day, for whatever reason you can go to either both will accept you.!! Ive gone to both. BUT.. got fingers pointed, called a junkie more times from alcoholics anon phoneys. But not even once at narcotics anonymous have i heard people say....hey diabetic you dont realy need insulin just willpower.......nope! Both have faults 100%! , but thats why there is no leader, no corporate office , no money being made. It may be the last true "for the people, by the people". if either na or aa works for folks, i hope they take advantage listen to every share, then build a toolbox of survival tools and life lessons, youll need it for the sober project! Sorry for making this soo long... i just hope it helps someone who is struggling with whatever demons...they are not alone!
@@hoss011 AA isn't just for people in sobriety, it's also for people who are still struggling to quit, or even people who aren't quitting at all, and just know they drink too much. that's why they "sponsor" each other and try to keep each other from drinking. It's just a group for people who once had/still have drinking problems to talk to other people who can relate and sympathize rather than empathize.
Dave's my fave too, man. Theo's the first comic I've seen that can chain jokes together anywhere near as well as him. There are a bunch of comedians around now that bite off of Attell's style, but Theo reminds me of Attell the most while somehow also having a style that feels nothing like his.
Tom Segura is my fav as far as traditional comedy goes, I guess, but Theo is just hilarious as a person. Like literally anything he talks about ends up being funny as hell and sometimes I’m not sure he even means it to be lol
