I shift to Kayak Fishing this time of year but when I do breakout a fly rod, then it is pond fishing for Bass and Bluegill. Or, the occasional run to the Denison Dam tailrace for Stripers, fly fishing when they are not generating.
@@axle4662 Clouser Minnows, Lefty Deceivers, and Wooley Buggers. Clousers when Stripers are lower in the water column, Deceivers when closer to the surface. Wooley Bugger for Smallmouth and Largemouth. 5wt is small if you get a big one but should handle most of what bites. Good Luck!
