Little Red Riding Hood's Basket - STEM Challenge
Recreate Little Red Riding Hood's basket in this STEM activity for either classroom or remote learning use. This activity is what I call simple STEM, using only paper and a few other materials (paper, scissors, tape or a stapler, and weights). Students are challenged to design a strong basket using only 2 sheets of paper that can transport 10 weights 30 paces. If successful, continue adding weights and retesting. If unsuccessful, redesign your basket and try again!
