The world has lost an icon, a legend a man who gave 500% each and every time he stepped on stage. A man who influenced some of the greatest artists of all time Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Rod Stewart to name a few. RIP Little Richard you've entertained the world for decades get some rest.......
It's tragic that little Richard has died. RIP. But he did not create Rock and Roll. His music career started in 1947 and the first rock song came out in 1938. It's called Roll em Pete by Big Joe Turner. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QPs8hYugdQU.html.
@@emiliam.7441 His religion or his beliefs does not take away from who he was . A great performer and great man who gave all of himself and did not ask for anything in return. One of Music's Greatest Artist.
@@midniteangelrain Yes, I agree that Little Richard was a great performer. I love his music and I almost envy my mother and mother-in-law's generation who were there when Little Richard first emerged on the music scene. When he died, I asked my mother-in-law whether she remembered Little Richard, and she replied, "I remember him well. We danced to all his tunes."
@@emiliam.7441 We all danced to his tunes he was amazing. He captured our hearts with all of his music. I saw him for the first time on TV in 1960 I believe on American Bandstand which as a little girl who loves music that was my show. Little Richard , Chuck Berry and Elvis they were the ones who made us move our bodies. (Yes I am from that era)
@@midniteangelrain I think another thing Little Richard did was bring Black and White people together. Everybody seemed to love his music regardless of race.
This one hurts. Inside the family of entertainers, we lost a cherished member today. Richard was a true gentle soul. A real "down to earth" guy. I loved him. Thank you Richard for the memories. The last time we spoke you talked more of the care for others than you did about yourself. I'll never forget that. It was a nice visit. Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, us humans have lost a giant. Little Richard. Thank you.
As a fan, a human being I feel the loss. But you knew him as a person so I can't imagine the pain you are felling right now. Prayers. I know he's rocking up in the heavens right now putting on a great one of a kind show.
The Beatles REQUESTED to be his opening act. Jimi Hendrix was in his band. He rose from abject poverty in Georgia to become "The Architect of Rock 'n' Roll". Rest in Peace, Little Richard, whose real name was Richard Wayne Penniman.
I'm 34. grew up in the "ghetto" and grew up with rap and r&b, which is fine and all but little richard has captivated me since I was a older toddler in 1993. my parents thought I was weird but I think I saw a TV show or documentary when I was a kid. actually, it might have been my grandfather playing long tall Sally but for whatever reason I organically loved little richard as a young kid and all I needed to do was watch predator. Nothing is more beautiful then finding something different than what is around you and loving it on your own without it being pushed on you
I come from africa.I have been fan of rock'n roll since I entered university in 1987 in my homeland Gabon.I am 46 years old,it's now i realize that the kings of rock'n roll music were actually african-americans.
Without African Americans,Rock N Roll Music would never have existed.Elvis did not write his own songs. He would never have attained the status he did,if he was Black.
You got Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis (who was not the lone king) no one back then was the lone king of rock n roll. I feel like it was a mix of all these people together who were the kings of rock n roll.
Mi sentido pésame a su familia, una triste pérdida al mundo de la música, sin duda un gran influyente en tantos artistas que se inspiraron en su talento. Un abrazo desde Chile 🇨🇱
Of course we danced...beautiful old days..thanks for post.. a new generathion of litlle productive they are looking for rock and jazz those old times..they do not have their faces and ideas..
God Bless the true Kings and Queens of Rock & Roll Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Sister Rosetta Thorpe etc and all the other countless black pioneers of Rock who were systematically deprived by white society of the chance to bring their genre to the mainstream. Your glory and recognition was stolen from you but you will not be forgotten.
Little Richard, one of the pioneers of rock n 'roll, died. He and many other rock and roll stars, such as: Jerry Lee Lews: Chuck Berry; Bill Haley & His Comets: The Platters; Chubby Checker; Elvys Presley and so many other stars that brightened up with a great performance. Lovers of rock 'n' roll, these acts, are saddened by the loss of the legendary star. My regards to the family.
Thanks to these Beautiful Idols ! is that these trash are today ... thanks to them ! they made music ! they made history ! and it was so much inocent, but now ... Music is just lost and I love this kind of music and I'm just 17 and I Love it !💕
@@slam8368 Haha Elvis was the one who made either of them have any lime light / big success..again little Richard sold 30m record WW, Elvis has sold over 1billion. Facts don't care about your feelings.
Alex Bro Oh did Little Richard make rock n' roll the international dominant musical form? I think that was Elvis. The true king was always Elvis. "He really was the king of rock n' roll." - James Brown.

♥️♥️🙏🌹🌹🎼🎵🎶🎼🎶🎶🎵👧🤰🌈
