Glen Frey called them the best harmonizing band that ever existed. High praise from an Eagles member. Sad how things always go wrong. The best bands created the best music under the worst tensions. From within and without. LRB, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Brothers, Pink Floyd, etc. Still the music is absolutely timeless. A true feat indeed and a part of so very many of our lives. Rather for falling in love, heartbreak, good memories, bad memories, still many fond memories and smiles for me. Thank you always for the music. Cheers from Utah. ✌
Mark Birchette, GF said at the Expo 88 concert that they were the best singing band in the world today. I think that meant at that time, not the best that ever existed? They would certainly be up there though. I’m thinking top 5 of all time.

These guys still rock it. Don't know how Glenn still does it, he is still carrying those lyrics so well. Beebs and Graham still harmonize like it was 30 yrs ago.
I used to blow out the basement windows with this LRB' ORIGINAL BAND!!! THE sound, music, harmonies were and are amazing!!!! Not heard today on any so called radio station. Even Country music is gone. Beeb just has THAT SOUND!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING , MR.Goble and letting me hear!!!!!!
There is a unique vocal harmony blend which can ONLY come from Birtles, Shorrock and Goble. That special sound is and will always be Little River Band. The impostors, here in The USA can call themselves Little River Band but they don't & never will, sound like Little River Band therefore, they are a tribute band.

The three original singers and songwriters of Little River Band: Beeb Birtles, Glenn Shorrock and Graeham Goble. They will always be known as LRB based on their writing, the uniqueness of the blend of their voices, and their ability to duplicate these harmonies in a live performance. Millions of ears were, and still are, drawn to their sound.
You cant mistaken the harmonizing sound of LRB, even though the name is different, the sound is still the same. They'll always be LRB to those of us who grew up listening to their music. Rock on Gents.
Graeham, the whole LRB name saga is very unfortunate. But please take heart in the fact that many of the songs you have written and recorded will outlive you and will eventually come home back to you. No amount of obfusication and no attempts to rewrite history will succeed in the long term. There will always be those of us and like us who know the truth and they will always persevere to spread that truth to all that seek it. Your legacy is secure. Thanks to you, Glenn, Beeb, Derek, Ric, Roger, David and George for blessing us with your wonderful talents. Indeed, it is a long way there to where we are going but we will all get there in the end. I liked this band so much, especially those harmonies, and these are the real and original guys of the band, the Little River Band, what ever name someone is using. Period !
I was born in 1978, my dad used to sing these songs around the house when I was a kid growing up. I could listen to LRB all day every day, my son who's now 7y/o sings Original LRB songs with me in the car and garage! Nothing better then the harmony and musicianship of Graham, Glenn & Beeb!!! Simply the best!
This is LRB no matter what name they are forced to use. There is no other and there never will be. Had the pleasure of seeing these three guys on Full Circle tour several times. Love them no matter what they are called
He’s got a certain superb Tony Bennett type of vocal charm doesn’t he? The songwriting and harmonies are simply magnificent. Sounds so great here. Bravo and cheers.

Amazing how they can nail those harmonies so well after 30 plus years. This is the REAL Little River Band people. The current lineup is nothing but a tribute band, that wouldn't be squat without all the amazing songs that THESE 3 musical geniuses composed.

When we're young, we compose all this inhuman shit that we'll never be able to sing or play when we're older. That's just life. Fuck old age.

I was there also! First concert I ever attended! They set the bar high for live music!!! Daryl’s for Dinner and then Litte River Band. I sang the whole night!!!

Hi Graeham I have been listening to you and the boy’s from back when you first started back here in NZ , and it’s not until know I realise that how much talent there was back then on both sides of the Tasman you will always be LRB to me no matter how they try to put their stamp on it all the best

These songs touched me as a part of my youth and now at 55 years of age it brings Back all the great feelings of my youth .It is such a pleasure to hear this fantastic band and I’m So proud of them belonging to us aussies I’m MHO they are unequaled👍

The forgotten gems of Aussie rock music. Glen Fry was unquestionably on the money with his harmonizing statement, even in their elder years their vocals are still mesmerizing! Great songs, great lyrics and icons of the Aussie music industry!!
These guys are so awesome I wish I could see them in concert. I'll be forty-five years old this year and have been listening to these guys since I've been about 3 you guys are totally the reason I became a musician thank you for all the inspiration.
Total brilliance! Great musicianship, great lead vocals, great harmonies… iconic and legendary!… great musicians and the best singers ever! Shorrock is one the best! Could sing, AND did sing everything, with conspicuous ease!
Their first four albums remain perrenial favorites and this brings back great memories. One of the greatest ever rock bands from Down Under period. Home On Monday is still as good a song about being on the road away from home I've ever heard BTW.
Great medley of classics. Shorrock is one of the finest pop-rock vocalists ever in my opinion. He sounds a little rough here but that is understandable at his age and thousands of shows. I saw them in 1979 on the "First Under the Wire" tour. Great songs and harmonies.
Superlatively great music from one of the greatest bands of all time. Also a wonderful example of a microcosm of Australian society making good in the greatest imaginable sense: Birtles (Dutch immigrant), Shorrock (English immigrant), Pellicci (English immigrant), Gobles (Aussie born driving force of the band).
