I don’t care that it’s 2 o clock on a Monday afternoon, the fact great music like this has only 700 views in a few hours is a damn shame, after the music reactors do this album and everyone says it’s album of the year it will blow up though

It’s fixed for average people on big labels to succeed because they’re the ones who are stupid enough to get into label contracts where 90% of their money is going to some rich white guy with no music ability at all. Talent like Simz, Dave, Freddie Gibbs etc that are either independent or not from America have no chance at ever winning Grammys in America because it’s fixed and if underground artists don’t get the critical acclaim, with no radio play, they’ll never get there. ( Dave’s probably not the best example but he’s way more talented than any young US rapper)
This album, this masterpiece, has been instrumental in helping me tap into a well that I've tried for years in earnest to access. Thank you, Simbi, for finding strength and power in all of those things we hide, shun everyday. Things that have been beaten out of us for centuries, ridiculed across industries, relegated to "other" in a world where we're often seen as invisible despite all of our efforts to be seen, loved, wanted, and understood. Thank you from one broken Black king to another Black Queen.

Deeply and Little simz wrote what i have inside Sorry i am not black and i respect the black community struggle which is a small mine through my son mixed race.
