Wow Joe! Excellent!!! You rocked it! I grew up in a home where Elvis was played loudly and often and your rendition of this great song is the best I've heard!!! You vocal and guitar play were simply FANTASTIC. BRAVO JOE!!! ~Jackie
Tremendous! I swear that guitar has a pulse! Total synergy between man and instrument. Great interpretation, great performance, toe tapping from start to end. Loved it.
This always seems to be one of the songs that are overlooked by others, but I love this song-- always have!! When I listen to you sing this song, I can't help but think it sounds so much like the original -- wow! Not many people could say that! What a fantastic bluesy sound you gave it too! There is absolutely no sitting still through this song!!! :)
My neck hurts from shaking it in disbelief. Bad, ass.. that was awesome. Great singing and that guitar playing makes me want to stop even trying. Way to go man. Way to go.
You are very very fortunate to have such great talent. Never get tired of your songs. Maybe some day I'll get to see you in concert. Best to you and your family. Truly blessed.
Very awesome! I really like how you make all these songs your very own. Finally someone who is a huge Elvis fan just as I am, who can do his songs their own way without trying to sound just like him. Bravo!
Love your take on the Elvis classics. Your father and mother were over at my wife's parents house (Carmela and Pietro Varveri). They were proudly telling my wife's parents of your virtuosity. Having just checked it out on youtube I have to acknowledge your fine vocals, great guitar playing (Matons YES!) and compelling interpretations of classic covers. Both myself and my wife, Vita Ne: Varveri, have requested you as Facebook friends and would be delighted if you accept! Bravo
Hi I'm originally from Scotland been living in sunny Brisbane 13 years now. I sent my young brother the link to watch you play little sister as he is a massive Elvis fan as well (I taught him well 😁) He is still in Scotland and also said he would definitely go an see you play. Your own songs are truly excellent as well. What part of Australia are you from?
Joe, that is one of my favorites and of course the flip side of that song was "Marie's the Name" the G-em progression... man you did a great rendition of this song, little sister.. cool man.. just cool... JB
There is nothing to say other than wow! Totally awesome Joe! Loved this one a lot my friend! Peace to you and your family Joe! Thanks for posting these songs :)
I might say that the famous James Burton the lead guitar player for TCB Band does this lead on the cut with the Elvis. amn you is running circles around his lead .. with an acoustic no less! Awesome
This is called nailing it , useing the basic elements, Greatly done ,you need to put color in your thumnail to pull in the pervs and creepers , just joking ,kinda, Joe understands how to play this song Bust Out Be the Star You Are ,This should be getting more views ,I think Jazz up the backgroung Color is King .
Was looking forward to hearing you do this, but sadly the Volume is extremely low compared to the past five or six songs just listened to today. Ok, three quarters through the sound volume increased. 🤔 😒
