Little Star were one of Kyushu punk’s unsung heroes, they released just one tape and a flexi-disc in the late 80’s before fading into obscurity, a few years ago a handful of deadstock copies of the tape and flexi were discovered in the Kings World Records archives which quickly sold out. At the time Little Star were considered a rival band of Last Child and this was even documented in an issue of Blue Jug magazine, their sound combines the classic ’77 punk rock sound of bands like Lydia Cats with the typical late 80’s Beat sound of bands like Jun Sky Walkers and Kenzi & The Trips.
