Makes me wanna move back to Texas. Met my late wife in Ft Worth at the Longhorn Saloon in the Stockyards in 1983. We were married almost 29 years. Miss both Texas and my sweet wife. God Bless Texas and my wife's sweet spirit
im mexican american and i cant even explain how proud i am to be Texan. born and raised here and i can honestly say there is no place like Texas, this is truly God's land! my 6 year old niece was once asked what race she was and she answered with "im Texan." happiest day of my life God Bless Texas.
I'm a Texan to be. That's one thing I am looking forward to. I have heard that flying the Mexican flag in Texas is unheard of. That bullshit goes on constantly in California which is one of the reasons I am leaving.
@Matt Owens now that the texas gov. said no lockdowns and no stupid masks and i am in the middle of moving there i love this song even more! also low taxes and a lot of companys like tesla moving there may the YEEEEEEE's and the HAWWWW's be heard all over MURICA
I'm an English Man . Born and bred . But if there's one place I could live other than my homeland Texas is it . I reckon to there way of reckoning . God bless Texas
I was born in Texas. It's a very unique place- nothing else like it ! Some people ask if I have a horse. Like we're just one big ranch ! That wouldn't be a bad thing ! God bless Texas.
I was born and raised in Maryland and traveled around the world complements of the US Army. I then moved to Texas and can't think of living anywhere else. GOD BLESS TEXAS!!
Same here, I’ve been to many states. Yet I moved here 6 years ago due to work and I instantly fell in love 😍 I started my family here, kids born and raised. I’ll be here until I die. I love this state and very proud of it 😎💪🏽💪🏽
Chance Marusa I hear "cait" the fake is trying to claim a connection to Texas.......tell me it ain't so, puleeeeezzzzzze. If she pokes her head up I can change the confusion for good.
Thanks Dean. We were blessed to have assistance from all over. That's what we do. From Texas to NYC on 9-11 Americans respond with grit, determination and will. Texas is proud to be PART of that. Pennsylvania has its own scar from 9-11. We will never forget.
Yee-haw! Once I got here, I never wanted to move away. It's been 34 years as a Texan. Best live music anywhere, Texas 2-step, mountains, desert, of the 20 biggest cities in the US 6 are in Texas, bluebonnets and wildflowers, more registered boats than any other state, ranches, oil, no state income tax, jobs, professional sports, some top universities, TexMex, etc.etc. .
@@765respect when I first entered Texas at the state line with the Red River, I drove into the first gas station I saw and a cute attendant in overalls asked me: “Hepya?” I said “What?” And he repeated “Hepya?” I still wasn’t clear so I said, “Fill it up with regular” and them the light bulb 💡 in my head turned on. Another good one was when I was entering a state park and the ranger asked, “Do you have any “faarms or pates”? By then I spoke Texan and I said “no!” I’ve now been a Texan for 42 years. I still can’t understand my boyfriend, a native Texan. By the way, there are different accents for different regions of Texas but many speak Like TV newscasters anywhere in the US.
everyone I hear this sing, the pride for my state grows more and more. you can take the Texan out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the Texan. Texan and proud of it till the day I die
As an international student. I’ve been Texas for 5 years . I deeply love the Texas and the Texans ! Texas , my second hometown , Texans, my lovely people !
My buddy and I went to Barbados in 1993 to drink beer and raise hell. We had this CD and the bar owner begged us for it. Of course we gave it to him. God Bless Texas.
In 1976, I had a few beers in the Texas Bar in Montevideo Uruguay! There was a big Texas flag on the wall. I signed it after the bar owner checked my driver's license to verify I was a Texan!
I've never been there but friends from work said that this video is so true that's where all the most beautiful woman are from thanks for the beautiful music video still listening to this awesome band in 2024 September
I love it! God bless Texas. God bless America. Born and bred in Texas. No place like Texas. I love to travel to other states, but my heart stays in Texas. We Texans don't take no shit from commies trying to destroy our country. Long live Texas. Long live America!!!
+micheal hudson You mean people that want to keep religion and government seperate? You mean people that don´t reject science and don´t believe that the earth is 6000 years old? The stupidity of the people in Texas is dangerous. Go ahead and leave the us if you want to. You will sink within a year.

This song is SOOOO right!! We Texans are the most awesome people in the world!! We have everything that you could ever want!! I could never live anywhere else in the world because there's nowhere else on Earth even half as good!! Lord knows it's hard but we do try to be humble about it. :)
OMG!!!! All these years this video has been out and I had no FREAKING idea that it was done on Southfork Ranch! In 2015, this is still one of my favorite songs!!! GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!
It's been 20 years since this song was released in late 1993. I clearly remember the first time I heard it and it was around Christmas of that year in my mom's van on the way to my grandma's house, when I was 4 1/2. Now every time I hear it, I think of Christmas in my grandma's old neighborhood. lol. I used to think he was saying "God Bless chexus."
I lost count of how many Thousands of times I've listened to this song and I Never get tired of it. So from the Bottom of All my Heart to ALL of you from Our piece of Heaven on Earth, especially those of you who had to leave, including my fellow Veterans, May y'all make it home safe someday soon and; GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!!
Awwww!! (thanks uploader!!) One of my favorites from my 'workin' at the Truck Stop' days!! Kat & me...the "dancin' waitresses!" SOO much fun! WHERE would we be without wonderful memories? God bless truckers...and certainly, God blessed and may He keep blessing Texas! (AND the whole USA!)
I wasn't born in Texas, my mother was. I have lived, and, worked in Texas, in various parts, at various ages. In Laredo, Arlington, and Houston. I believe it, to be, the miniature version, of the early U.S.A., where freedom, is still, a possibility. Too much Federal government, influence, still involved, but, their control, is everywhere, it shouldn't be. GOD bless Texas, and, GOD bless, the U.S.A. !
I'm Salvadoran but , I was born in Boyle Heights Raised in South Central ..what I'm trying to say good Ole USA IS MY PRIDE AND JOY GOD BLESS TEXAS GOD BLESS AMERICA USA !!USA!!USA!!USA!!!!!!!! #1 OF ALLL IN THE WORLD USA#1
"Brought down angels to the promised land" sadly those angels are gone in 2020. They've all been tattooed and are now on hard drugs. I miss America. They were sure pretty back then.
I can't tell you how huge this song was when it made it's debut. CMT played country all day and it was all over our radio in Kentucky. Just like MTV, artist not only had to create songs for albums, the mainstream and even artist with a smaller footprint had to develop music videos. And some of them were masterpieces. But I was a country fan then and when this song came out, that tempo and upbeat music was just a staple of 90s country.
Cool. I had a chance to see them in concert years ago. Back in the early to mid 90s. But the week leading up to the concert I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I was hospitalized for a whole week due to it being so out of control. Till this day I think about from time to time.
Daniel H: LOL Texas is home to the 2nd largest population of Hispanics in the US. San Antonio is basically Mexican hahahahaha gtfo Mexicans have been in Texas since the beginning.
Proud Texan here;Raised in Corpus, stationed at Lackland AFB,living in S.A.for many years.Though I've lived in other states;God/Texas made me who I am,and gave me what I have.I played piano and sang at Panjos pizza parlor(CC Tx)for 1-1/2 years, and I ALWAYS played GOD BLESSED TEXAS!A Crowd favorite.
