@@Necrxlitha remaster would probably be the better option considering that PS3 graphics haven’t aged terribly. And LBP3 is already playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility so that would be redundant
Same, honestly I wouldn't even care if there were new characters in the Story Mode. If they were just old story characters like Frida, Larry da Vinci, and Victoria von Bathysphere, along with just one new antagonist then it would be fine.
@@ToonyTails Hot take (maybe?) But I would hope for it being not an playstation exclusive title anymore atleast release it on steam aswell like they did it the last years with their big flagship titles. Hell even The lost of us got it onto pc even with the remaster. I want so much more people to experience what we did with lbp! I feel like there is a market for it atm and they have to use the opportunity for it!
I am actually kind of hoping they remake the story modes of the original games with Big Adventure gameplay. Imagine fighting the Terrible Oni or the Negativitron in 3D!
Idk I think a better idea would be to expand the original story levels (hidden rooms with more prizes, extra sticker puzzles, alternate paths to reach the scoreboard, etc)
I'm just thinking of this now, but if lbp4 is 3D (and comes out one day), maybe karts could just be directly in-game. (It is probably very complicated to add a new gameplay but why not)
They should just remake alp the levels of 1 2 and 3 and maybe make new ones with the new engine which I would be completely with it even if all my stuff gets erased
Even without the backwards compatibility, I would just love a new game. They can just open new opportunities for new people and the old community can just be a nostalgic memory
I have this probably impossible concept where when creating levels, you can choose between the LBP1, 2, 3 & 4 engines where each will remove/add some features and stuff. Also I'd love for LBP4 to be designed like LBP1. I feel like the other LBP's drifted away from that "You are tiny in this world" concept. And layer limitations so you don't have to put some stupid invisible walls when you want to work with less layers on the ground
I imagine it doesnt have to be where theres a villain, maybe you just go to levels exploring the main characters favorite places. Like how in LittleBigPlanet 1 we explored the world, in 4 maybe we could explore Davinci favorite spot (which I think would be a museum lets be honest) and you get to collect materials there. I would love to hangout with Clive in a level where we help him out with work by sorting stuff.
I think that apparently one of the reasons we haven't gotten a new game in the series yet is because with the help of AAA and Sony don't want to lose a lot of money that probably won't recoup their investment on smaller and simpler games, so what I think is that if they start making AA games (like Helldivers 2) That way they will be able to bring back to us games of its classic brands (like LPB) without fearing the financial danger of a AAA game.
I mean… an 80 or 90 dollar game with a remake of all the LBP1&2 (probably 3 as well tbh unless it gets retconned) levels would be nice. The downside of a complete remake of the game engine is that the resource server with all the old levels on it will likely never be used or touched again.
I would say remake some of the stuff from the previous games instead of using the same game engine, since remaking everything from the previous games into a new game engine would take a while to do, but if they do remake it all and that’s a big IF since they might not even remake the previous game stuff if they even make lbp4, then people can remake their community levels and maybe even improve on stuff if it needs to be
I don’t care about backwards compatibility there are community level archives so if im correct we could just copy paste it into a level or just recreate them but I just want another LBP with a good story
Ok, so I know it's far fetched but for a little while now I've had a suspicion that Mm is working with 4J. They both announced (very subtly) that they are working on new IPs, not too long after each other, and they both seem like they are early in development. 4J has yet to mention what their new engine will be used for, and have only shown very very limited examples of what it can do. And also Stampy is working for them (which if you ask me is more proof than anything that they are collabing. The fact the Mm hasn't shown a single piece towards their project, if any, is weird.
I think one of the reasons they refuse to make LBP4 is partly because they had to shut down the online multi-player because of how toxic people were being.
I have no faith in this project, but if it does end up hitting all the nostalgia receptors in just the right way... it would be a surprise for sure, but a welcome one.
What if they just worked on the base game, finished it, released it, and then slowly worked on backwards compatability. That way, we could have our lbp4, and still get the old content from before surely there would be good ways to transfer data anyways. What about lbp hub?
How about they just rip most OG levels from the old servers, group them in a category called idk "Community Classics?" Save it as apart of the base game, and replace the old servers with a new one.
Ok right when it comes out I will get it instantly so I can get week 1 shirt cuz the only one I have is lbpk sweater IDC if it is 50 or 40$ but I need it right now😭😡😭😡😭😡😭😡
