What we do need is a remaster of 1 and 2. And maybe a PC port of all 3. PS3s are no longer in production. But that won’t happen due to no interest from Sony and MM, and maybe the improvements of rpcs3

LBP1 turns 15 years old this October 27th, so I hope there is some kind of announcement of anything soon

lbp 1 and 2 should be "play station now" games included with play station plus extra or bought on the store or something like that

I only got it a few weeks ago and i already want a new littlebigplanet game

I'm one of those that got a PS3 just for Littlebigplanet :D, Ive been by its side for 15 years played it the very day it released, Id love to see a remake re master of 1 or 2, LBP3 is not stable you never know when it will crash and you'll loss everything you've made. Hoping 2024 could have some LBP4 news.

I just wish LBP3 was more playable... Idk if it's a issue alot ot people experience but for me the game is such a mess. The search function breaks, Levels dont load/kick me back to pod, The join function would break constantly, It's overall just really buggy...

I think the franchise really needs to take it up a notch with its physics simulations and graphics. If it wants to stand out like it did in 2008, it needs to start anew and base itself entirely on a new canon, embracing a future for the franchise.

I absolutely need lbp4, and I want Mm to be part of the project. With Lbp 1 and 2 being down forever, 3 just wont suffice for me. Yes it has more options, but Its not as smooth of an experience

I mean I can literally play lbp 1-3 at 8k resolution 60 fps on pc and multiplayer work too on rpcs3

LBP 4 should perfectly integrate all of Mm game Dreams creation system into it, it should be playable on all systems and it should be free to play online without having any PS Plus or X-Box online subscription. It should be done so people playing online on one system can also simultaneously be playing with others on other systems. It also need a totally new server system that not only guarantees optimized online play but also protection from ANY hackers. It also needs to come with FULL access to everything (Including ALL DLC from all LBP games)

If I had the means to make a lbp3 private server. I would’ve fucking hit the ground running multiple years ago. Weird how it seems like nobody’s working on it yet because the servers especially now are down due to the moderation purge.

I think if we got a lbp4 nothing from the previous games would transfer over levels Even DLC since they lost the license to some of them.

A new Little Big Planet game that merges all 3 games into 1 would be ace, just the same stuff available for everyone to play on new hardware

As an Xbox primary player from the beginning of my gaming life, I’d buy a PS5 for LBP4. Extremely tempting to buy one for LBP3, but the fact that I’m already almost 10 years late and it’s under attacks like you mentioned, I’m scared to invest in such an expensive console for one single game. A remaster that combines the first 2 games would be amazing and everything I ever wanted.

Lbp3 is unfortunately still full of bugs though. LBP1 and 2 levels don't work half the time. Online play is still pretty much unplayable. Story progress resets constantly. Created levels go corrupt more than they should. I want an LBP4 simply to have a smooth LBP game again. I know they're not going back to lbp3 at this point. So just give us 4 please. Also LBP's gameplay is still so unique and I think the level design, especially in LBP1 is something that no other game has even come close to. I'd love more official content for it. The community levels in lbp3 all feel the same now. Give us something new

Facts I wouldnt even mine if they make lbp 1 2 and maybe 3 remastered and come to ps5 and pc but to this day i still own a PS3 that does carry out the nostalgia

I think cross platform could work for lbp4 if they make it cross platform between just pc and ps5. Sackboys big adventure coming to pc, makes me think that could be a possibility if we ever see a lbp4

This is kinda weird and risky but… what if Sony started marketing lbp3 again what if they made new updates made ads etc but I highly doubt that would work

I just think they should name it little big planet fuck wit sequels they should just make it to where people make there own worlds and they update there story modes

I don't really want a Little Big Planet 4 or anything; just a well-optimized PC port would be nice. Hell, I don't even care that much for a PC port, an optimization update, or anything like that would work wonders for the game and its future for me

i will not play lbp4 if it only releases on playstation switched to pc in 2016 and i will never go back to a console so i hope if lbp4 will come out one day it will also be on pc.

To everyone clamoring for ports of LBP 1 and 2: Why? It would be pointless.. LBP3 already has literally ALL the content from the other 2 games AND you can still play the community levels from the other 2 games. I feel like this is mostly based on nostalgia because those games and the people who played the games are older. The only way I could see this working is that if you pulled a COD and just remastered the story modes of the other 2 games. But that would defeat the point of the whole series as it’s meant to be “Play,Create,Share” and at that point you could only play. A better option imo would be to port LBPK or LBP Vita. Games you can’t already play the content of in LBP3.
